Chapter 14 Encountering the old queen

Finally the three weeks' journey ended. Queen Cosmos arrived at a safe haven, where it was safe from the attack of Golinkor forces, which were held back by the Galaxy Union.

Belamis had the task of protecting the Princess as the cyborg fighter.

The place was a planet away from the Great Planet, located at the galaxy system Large Magellanic Cloud, nearest to the Galaxy, so that the Galaxy Energy could be sustained. It was also at the end where it was farthest from Golinkor threats.

"Belamis, you will be the protector of the Princess here..." The Galaxy Union command sent in a message, ".. Kugo and Djorgo must come to the other front to help fighting off the enemies from Golinkor."

Kugo held hands with Belamis, as she looked at him. Djorgo and Princess watched.

"Go..... I will be fine." Belamis said to Kugo, gazing at his eyes, and she turned to the Princess.

"It's OK, Belamis is capable of protecting me." The Princess said.

"I will miss you both..." Djorgo said.

"Take care... Belamis, and you too.. Princess." Kugo.

The two cyborgs then flew away, with Belamis piloting Queen Cosmos, and preparing to land at a planet near one of the star.

Belamis looked, and her emotions were stirring. Princess watched her sat silently, she knew Belamis was very attached to Kugo, and it would be a long time they couldn't see each other.

"Prepare to land, Princess." Belamis sounded calm and wore a straight face as she prepared Queen Cosmos to touch down.

"She tried to sound as if nothing matters.." Princess thought.

Belamis figured that the Golinkor enemy could some how track Galaxy energy, to play safe, she setup an energy field to try and mask the Princess' trace of Galaxy energy, but that field could not be turned on constantly. Now she shut down the field as they were in the safe haven.

Queen Cosmos touched down, and the two came out.

"There it is.." The Princess pointed to a palace... "..the old queen of the Great Planet is here too."

"Old queen ?" Belamis asked.

"Yes.... when I assume the throne at the Great Planet, she moved here to spend the rest of her life here." The Princess added

Belamis looked at the palace. "She is very kind and gentle, like a mother to me... I think she would like you too.." The Princess said.

Then an old lady emerged from the palace.

"There she is.." The Princess said.

She was a lady with silvery white hair, and she wore a fine and beautiful robe, and had a crown on her head. She hold a scepter, and she nodded at them.

Belamis could not tell how old she was, yet the old Queen was still beautiful, though she had some wrinkles on her face.

Belamis gazed, and felt warm, "She was really motherly looking.."

She approached and hold her helmet at one hand.

The old Queen saw the two, and said, "Princess Aurora, nice to see you again.." She turned to Belamis, and said, "..and who is this fine young lady here ?"

"She is Belamis, she's from the army who is responsible to protect me." The Princess replied.

Belamis bowed her head, and said, "Your majesty, I am Belamis."

The old Queen looked at her. She smiled at said, "Come closer and let me look at you."

Belamis approached. The old Queen saw before her a young and smart warrior, beautiful and confident.

"I liked you... you looked like a brave and kind person." The old Queen said.

"Thank you." Belamis replied.

The old Queen was holding a scepter, the tip was a big gem.

At night, Belamis stayed up to be on guard. Then she felt a strange sensation.

"... somebody is calling me ?... what is it?" Belamis thought. She turned and felt that sensation was from the palace.

She placed her right hand on the sword, and entered the palace.

There the old Queen's scepter was placed at a table. The gem at the tip was glowing.

"What is it ?" Belamis thought, and she approached with caution.

Then suddenly the scepter fired out a beam and hit Belamis forehead.

"Ha...arh..." Belamis was hit, then she froze.

"I... cannot move..." Belamis was alarmed. Belamis struggled, but to no avail. There seemed to be a force field acting on her, and the more she struggled, the force field became stronger and she could not break free. Belamis started to moan as she struggled.

The stir woke both the old Queen and Princess up, and they came down and check out.

"What happened ?" The Princess exclaimed as she saw Belamis' state.

"I... cannot move a bit..." Belamis answered.

"Why is the scepter doing this .." The old Queen said.

Then Belamis suddenly lost her suit, and levitated in the air naked, showing her strong and muscular body.

The old Queen looked, and remarked, "..... she has such a strong body....."

Belamis, under the influence of the field, and floated out to the open air.

Belamis was all naked, and then her forehead glowed, and she just transformed to her giantess form.

The old Queen was stunned, as she looked at the strong and muscular giantess before her.

"You ....you are a Gariusu giantess ?" The old Queen approached, and looked at Belamis in great astonishment.

Belamis was even more confused, and she still could not move. She let out a low voice sound, "...Gariusu..."

The scepter seemed to have a life of its own, and it emitted a force that was so powerful that it could subdue even Belamis in her giantess form.

"Arh.... arh.." Belamis tried to break free, but the force was extremely powerful, and Belamis flexed her muscles trying to break free, and the sound of her flexing if muscles was audible.

"No... don't struggle!!" The old Queen said, as she picked up the scepter.

The another light radiated towards Belamis.

Belamis looked at the old Queen, then she felt a kindness sensation in her heart, and Belamis saw in the Queen the same motherly look, just like her own mother.

Belamis then stopped struggling, the force field eased, and Belamis fell onto her knees, and she breathed heavily. Her struggle against the field was exhausting, and her pectorals were moving.

"What happened ?" The Princess asked.

"This scepter.... would start to activate itself... when it encounters the Gariusu giantess warrior.." The old Queen hold out the scepter, and looked at Belamis.

"Yes... you are the Gariusu giantess... a strong and brave one..." The old queen looked at the giantess before her, who was full of muscles, very strong.

Belamis flexed her muscles, and the flexing sound was audible, and she uttered, "...old Queen..."

The old Queen looked at her, and said, "...indeed..just like the legend said... you could hardly talk in your giantess form..."

Belamis looked, and was confused as to why she would just transform, yet somehow a presence caused her to keep kneeling down, and in her heart, there was a kind of reverence feeling she felt before the old Queen.

Then a drop of tear rolled out of Belamis right eye.

Princess Aurora said, "Belamis is crying..."

The old Queen nodded, and said, "..because... because the Gariusu giantess will love the Queen of the Great Planet ..." Then she approached Belamis, touching her hand.

"The scepter contained energy that could summon the giantess, and also subdue the giantess..." She said as she pointed the scepter at Belamis. A bright light shot Belamis forehead, and Belamis returned to her human form.

Belamis was still naked, kneeling before the old queen.

The old queen helped Belamis up, and said, "Indeed it is you.... you are back..." She wiped the tears on Belamis face, and looked at Belamis' blue eyes, still teary.

"..I... I am back ?" Belamis asked. She was totally confused, and stunned by what happened.

"Come in... I will tell you more about your race.." The old Queen said.

Belamis suited herself up, and followed the old Queen with the Princess.

"Sit down.... I have a long story for you both..." The old Queen said, as she looked at her scepter.

Belamis sat, and looked at the old Queen.

The old Queen hold the scepter, and said, "This scepter, contained the energy that can summon a Gariusu giantess.... and it could also subdue the Gariusu giantess, under the will of its master. This scepter is from Gariusu."

"... from Gariusu... my home planet ?" Belamis said.

"Yes... your home planet...... it was given to the Queen of the Great Planet... eons ago by some godlike beings. If Belamis was transformed by the power of the scepter...only this scepter could turn Belamis back to human form." The old Queen said, and she turned to Aurora.

"Remember the old legend I told you ?" She said.

Aurora said, "Yes.... it was about the old Great Planet ... you showed me a bed of bright red flowers covering half a hill and a big meadow.. you called them ... Yarisa... you said it was about love... you did not tell me the rest of the story.."

"It is about love and courage... a long long time ago..." She looked at Belamis, "...a Gariusu giantess was there to protect the Queen at the Great Planet. She fought bravely with monsters attacking the planet, she protected the Queen selflessly... and at the very last battle... the monsters tortured the giantess severely, and the Gariusis giantess suffered, her blood was spilled everywhere...... covering half the hill and the meadow..."

Princess Aurora covered her mouth in shock... imagining the horror of the battle to have so much blood spilled.

Belamis listened, and remembered her wounds, and she bowed her head, thinking of her mother, Dr. Kitty, and the old Queen before her.

"... Yarisa ... in the old language at the Great Planet... means the blood of love from the warrior.." The old Queen continued.

"Every 1000 years .... there will be a Gariusu giantess who will help protecting the Galaxy Energy..." She looked at Belamis.

"The only way to identify one is the scepter, handed down from one Queen to another, when the Gariusu giantess shows up...".

Belamis looked at the old Queen, and said, "..you mean.. that is me ?"

Princess Aurora immediately remembered how Belamis almost got herself killed when she fought the photon master. "That was her act to guard the Galaxy Energy..?"

"I knew what you did when you sacrifice yourself .... you nearly got killed....." The old Queen knew about that... ".. only the correct Gariusu giantess will respond to the scepter.."

"Those godlike beings who first gave this scepter to the Queen at Great Planet many eons ago, were intelligent beings that were pockets of energy with life. According to the legend, they are also the guardian of the Gariusu giantess. They will heal the Gariusu giantess, and the energy this scepter emit will resonate with the Gariusu giantess." The old Queen said.

Belamis looked at the scepter, and gazed in awe.

"According to the legend... once the Gariusu giantess appeared before the Queen... she would have to undergo many tests...."

"What tests ?" The Princess asked.

"I have no idea..." The old Queen said, "... because we have not seen one Gariusu giantess for 1000 years.."

She looked at Belamis, and touched her face, "... my child... all I know is that, the tests will be very painful for you..."

Belamis listened, and looked at the old Queen at her eyes. The old Queen clearly was concerned with Belamis for she might suffer a lot, not just the tests.

"Whatever the tests....." Belamis replied slowly... "...I am not afraid."

For days, Belamis remained outside, keeping watch.

"I wonder... what tests ..." Belamis thought.

The Belamis saw a strange glow at the palace again.

"The scepter..." She thought.

The scepter floated by itself out the palace and approached Belamis.

"... if it is the test...." Belamis thought.

Then suddenly a ball of light emitted from the scepter, and the ball of light engulfed Belamis.

"....haa...." Belamis cried. Then she lost her suit, and was all naked. Then Belamis levitated out to the open, and then turned into the giantess.

Out of nowhere, four shackles chained Belamis on her hands and feet, and the ball of light carried Belamis away.

Belamis was surprised, and the ball of light took her to a mountain, then the four chains fixed on the mountain, effectively chaining Belamis to it.

"Arrh..." Belamis roared, and she tried to struggle free, but the chains and shackles appeared to be made of ultra-hard materials, even Belamis exerted all her muscles and strength, yet she could not break free.

The sound of Belamis' roaring woke up the Princess and the old Queen, and they rode shuttles out and looked for Belamis. They found her chained to the mountain.

The old Queen looked, and tears rolled out of her eyes.

"... my poor child.... I just don't want you to go through this... but I can do nothing about it...it is the fate of Gariusu giants..." Said the old Queen, and she raised her shuttle and flew towards Belamis face, touching Belamis' face with both her hands.

Tears rolled out of Belamis eyes, as she was touched by the kindness of the Queen, and Belamis could only let out a low voice growl....

The Princess also approached, and looked Belamis in her eyes, "..Belamis..."

"Au...ro..ra.." Belamis said in her giantess voice.

"The tests... are going to be tough...and painful....." The old Queen said.

"The previous Queen was told... to treat the Gariusu giantess as a slave and not to give her love... " Said the Queen.

"Why ?" The Princess asked.

"For if the Gariusu giantess felt the love of the Queen, or if she felt loved... she would repay the love by suffering indefinitely all kinds of torture... thinkable and unthinkable.... the previous Queen gave the Gariusu giantess love... and the giantess, in protecting the Queen, suffered the most gruesome torture and pain...that's why she spilled her blood in the Great Planet..." The old Queen looked at Belamis, she saw those scars on Belamis body, ".... Belamis..."

Belamis listened, and she roared, trying to free herself.

Then suddenly the chains just detached, and a ball of energy carried her to a deep gorge.

The Princess and the old Queen followed.

There the chains at Belamis hand attached to the sides of the gorge. Then there was a earthquake, the gorge broke open, and the two sides were pushed apart by seismic force, pulling the arms of Belamis.

"...its the test of strength..." The old Queen said.

The seismic force was tremendous, pulling Belamis both arms, Belamis roared, and pulled with her arms, and exerting her pectorals... veins popped out on her arms, and pectorals. The sound of her muscles exerting was audible.

"She was so strong..." The Princess wondered.

"Gariusu giants were strong beings.. but the strongest ones are the giantesses.... the one chosen to protect the Galaxy Energy will be the strongest giantess...." The old Queen said.

Belamis was fighting the seismic force that could move earth and mountain with her own body... and she roared as she pulled with her arms and using her pectorals.

"Look... the gorge is closing again.." The Princess said.

Belamis strength was so great that she pulled back the sides of the gorge.

Then the chains detached, and the same ball of energy took her to a tall cliff, where she was chained on four limbs. Then many large boulders came hitting Belamis. The boulders hit her body, especially on her torso. Sharp edges of the boulders were directed at Belamis breasts, especially at her nipples where it hurt most.

Belamis flexed her muscles, making her torso's muscles firm, and her pectorals turgid.

The Princess could not bear to watch. The rain of boulders lasted for hours, before it stopped, and Belamis body was all in blood. She breathed heavily, with her chest moving as she breathed in and out.

"She is going to be chained there like this?" The Princess asked.

"...until the tests end..." The old Queen said, as she watched Belamis tearfully.

Belamis looked at the Princess and the Queen, she saw their caring eyes, and was touched.

"not painful..." Belamis muttered.

The old Queen flew to Belamis on her shuttle, and touched her nose, and tears rolled out of Belamis' eyes.

"She is so gentle, brave and innocent..." The old Queen looked at Belamis.

For days, Belamis remained in her giantess form. The ball of energy seemed to have intelligence, and took her through a lot of tests to test her strength and endurance. One was having her chained to the same gorge where the seismic force was pushing the sides of the gorge apart, but this time it was her legs being chained. Belamis felt the force pulling her legs, and as her legs were pulled apart, widening to a split leap, exerting the tendons on her thighs...

"Arr..arr.." Belamis felt the stress on her tendons, then she exerted her muscles and pulled back.

The old Queen and the Princess were there to witness, as Belamis endured and again passed those tests.

At night, Belamis was chained to the mountain said, standing upright, and her arms were up, as the chains on her hands were attached way up, not letting her to put her hands down.

The old Queen was compassionate, she always approached and comforted Belamis by patting her face. Belamis looked at the old Queen, and nodded.

The old Queen then told the Princess the story.

"The previous Giantess was also like Belamis. In the legend that passed on to us, the previous Queen was delivered a baby girl... that was the a orphan from Gariusu...the giantess. The Queen raised the girl, but was told by the intelligent beings not to love her, but treat the girl coldly... but as the girl grew up to a young woman, and became the giantess, the previous Queen could no longer treat her like she treated a slave, and the Queen loved the girl.... the girl, eventually became the giantess, knew that the Queen loved her, and as she felt the love... she repaid the love ... she broke off the chain in the first battle and fought the monsters .... and in the end, in protecting the Queen, she was tortured horribly by the enemies who attacked the Great Planet... until... until.... "

"Until what ?..." The Princess asked.

The old Queen could not continue. The legend had it that the giantess suffered the most horrid torture in the entire universe.

"The giantess suffered .. her blood covered the meadow and half the mountain... and a ball of energy took her away.. " The old Queen finished the story, eyes in tears, as she peered towards the mountain where Belamis was chained.

In the dark night, Belamis could not sleep. She was chained to the side of the mountain, and she wanted to break free. Her heart suddenly ached, as she thought she had to free herself and protect the old Queen. She wailed loudly, and pulled the chains with all her might. As she pulled, her wrists and ankles bleed, as the pulling was scaping her flesh.

"What is the sound ?" The Princess asked.

The old Queen listened, and said, "... that's Belamis, she is wailing... trying to break the shackles on her..." The old Queen said. "We must go.."

She and the Princess flew to the mountain on their shuttle.

There Belamis was struggling to pull the chains, eyes in tears. She pulled so hard that the shackles cut deeply at her wrists and ankles, and they were bleeding.

"Belamis..." The old Queen approached. "We are here..." She gently touched Belamis nose, as Belamis looked at her, and breathed heavily. She kept on pulling the chains.

"...don't pull.. it will hurt you..." The old Queen said gently.

"Belamis, we are here.." The Princess said, also trying to comfort Belamis.

"...the final test..." The old Queen remarked.

The ball of energy cut open Belamis pectorals, and two hooks poked into her pectorals, poking on Belamis' nipples and out her pectorals.

Then the hooks with chains at the end attached to the wall of a cliff, and there was a great earthquake, which pulled the chains.

"Arhhh..." Belamis groaned as the hooks pulled on her pectorals.

"Belamis!" Princess Aurora exclaimed.

"This... is the final of the initiation rites.... the force would pull on the hooks that penetrated Belamis' pectorals..." The old Queen said.

As the earth moved, the cliff moved away, pulling the chains, and the hooks on Belamis' pectorals.

Belamis exerted her pectorals, and endured the torture.

"It is like the initiation rite of some tribes on Earth..." Princess Aurora said... she read about these kinds of rites, and the rites were for warriors to prove their courage.

Belamis felt the pull on her pectorals, like ripping her muscles apart, but she endured.... without making even a sound of pain.

Then finally the earthquake stopped, and the ball of energy released the hook from Belamis' pectorals...

Then suddenly there was a great shaking and explosion.

A gigantic monster appeared, like a large bear, approached.

Belamis saw the monster, and roared, pulling the chains even harder, ignoring her wounds on her pectorals.

"We have to flee!!" The Princess shouted.

The old Queen and the Princess tried to fly on their shuttle and flee, but the monster shot out blasts of energy, nearly hitting them.

Belamis saw the old Queen and the Princess in danger, and roared. In her mind, after the several days of encounter, she cared about the old Queen so much that she would not let anyone harm her.

She looked at the old Queen, eyes filled with tears, and pulled the chains even harder, and the cut on her wrists and ankles bleed.

The old Queen said, "...the last test... if Belamis could break the shackles like the previous giantess did... she would be the worthy warrior..."

Princess Aurora looked, as Belamis roared and pulled the shackles.

Then the monster's energy blasts hit the shuttles, and both the old Queen's and the Princess' shuttle had to land. The two women began running, but the monster was closing in.

Belamis roared, then suddenly her strength multiplied and she broke the shackles. Belamis threw herself and shielded the old Queen and Aurora with her body, and monster's energy blasts hit her back.

Belamis then turned and pushed the monster with her bare arms.

"Heeee....yaahhhhhh...." Belamis yelled, as she exerted her muscles, pushing the monster back.

The bear like monster hit Belamis with one paw, the claws slashing Belamis chest, leaving several cuts on her body.

Belamis braved the pain, and charged the monster, hitting its abdomen with her might. The monster fell over. Then Belamis reached below the monster, and lifted it up with her arms and threw it to the mountain, then she leaped up and kicked the monster head.

Belamis then wrapped her arms round the monster's neck, and tightened her arms to try and strangle the monster. The monster could not breath, and gradually collapsed.

"Belamis... don't kill it!!" The old Queen shouted.

Belamis turned, still holding her arms tight to subdue the monster.

"Belamis, could you keep holding it ?" The Princess said.

Belamis nodded.

Then the two ladies emitted Galaxy energy, turning the monster back to a regular bear.

Belamis let it go.... and looked at the two ladies.

The old Queen approached Belamis, and looked at the brave giantess before her.

"You are really the Gariusu giantess...", Said the old Queen.

Belamis nodded, and she fell onto her knees. The old Queen held up the scepter and a beam shot at Belamis forehead, and she transformed back to her human form, and then collapsed.

"What happened..." Belamis woke up, and asked, after she spent days in coma.

It was the Princess beside her, "You ... went through the tests for the Gariusu giantess.." Said the Princess.

"The tests..." Belamis asked, as she recalled the events.

"How's the old Queen ?" Belamis remembered.

"She is alright. You needed rest..." The Princess said.

Belamis closed her eyes, but actually she did not sleep. She got off her bed silently and suited up, and stayed beside her jet.

Upon daybreak, the old Queen saw Belamis in her suit, sitting on the back of her jet. Belamis saw the old Queen, and she hopped down from her jet, and approached.

The old Queen looked at her, and gently touched Belamis face.

Belamis felt she was like a mother to her, just like Dr. Kitty, and she said, "I will protect this place, you and the Princess with my life."

The old Queen looked at Belamis, and said, "You are really the same as the Gariusu giantess.... you looked exactly like her...", she took out a scroll, and opened it. It was an ancient document, and on it was a drawing, showing a giantess fighting a monster.

Belamis looked and was amazed. That giantess looked like her.

"The legend said... your race of giants were peaceful and helpful beings, and some of you wandered in the universe helping others.." The old Queen said.

Belamis immediately remembered her days of wandering... she would also helped others in need.

"I have no place to go.... my home planet blew up.. and my people all perished." Belamis said, swallowing her sadness.

"No.... I think there are some of your race... the Gariusu giants around... it just that you have not met them yet.." The old Queen said.

"... you mean.. I can still find my people ?" Belamis said.

"I don't know.... but we heard the legends about your people in different planets...." The old Queen said.

Belamis looked at the heavens, thinking of the prospect of meeting her own kind again.

"You are a brave warrior already. I know you only learned about your past recently...." The old Queen said.

Belamis nodded. She had yet to come to terms with her identity. She thought she was the daughter of Gariusu's general Conan, then she knew she was adopted -- an orphaned child. Now she learned she was the Gariusu giantess that would guard the Galaxy Energy.

"How ironic... before this.. I tried to capture Princess Aurora, and use the Galaxy Energy to build my ideal world... now I turned out to be one that supposed to guard it..." Belamis said.

"Maybe... it's your fate... that in the end you be the protector of Galaxy Energy after all.... and you did your redemption at Great Planet by fighting the photon monster..." The old Queen said.

Belamis looked at the old Queen, somehow she felt she knew the old Queen for a long time.

The Princess and the old Queen sat in the palace, with Belamis standing.

"Princess Aurora, I will hand you this scepter...." The old Queen said, as she passed the scepter to Princess Aurora.

"What am I supposed to do with it..?" Princess asked.

"....Belamis .. the Gariusu giantess... will be summoned by this scepter..." The old Queen said, "... you will use this scepter .."

"No... Belamis is a free spirit..." The Princess said, as she looked at Belamis, ".... she will protect us with or without this...".

"..this scepter does more than summoning the giantess.. it could call on 'spirits' that would guard Belamis.." The old Queen said.

"'spirits' ?" Belamis asked.

"I called them 'spirits', but actually they are a race of energized lifeforms, without body but only energy.... they are the ones that will protect you..." The old Queen said.

"...In the legend.... these 'spirits' will heal the Gariusu giantess..." The old Queen replied.

Belamis nodded.

"But before I hand the scepter to the Princess..." The old Queen put her hands on Belamis chest and torso, and said, "...this will strengthen you...".

Immediately Belamis felt some energy flowing into her body.

"No.... " Belamis stepped back.

She knew the old Queen was giving her the Galaxy Energy.

"No..." Belamis shook her head, and she felt her muscles were stronger already.

"You cannot do this.." Belamis said, and her voice was trembling with emotion.

"My child.... I have lived my life... and Aurora will be the one sustaining the Galaxy Energy.. .you will need all the resources.." The old Queen was determined to give her bit of energy to Belamis.

Belamis said, "No!"

"Then I have to force you.." The old Queen held out her scepter.

A beam shot at Belamis' forehead, turning her to the giantess. Belamis immediately let out a loud cry.

"What are you doing..?" The Princess exclaimed.

Tears streamed out of Belamis' eyes, and she muttered.."No..". The scepter radiated out energy that subdued Belamis, and the energy forced Belamis to kneel down, and Belamis was crying out in sorrow..."Arhhhh...."

"Please stop... Belamis is not willing ..." The Princess begged.

The old Queen point the scepter to the Princess and trapped her in a ball of energy.

The old Queen had tears in her eyes, she then said, "I waited for so many years for you to come.... your ancestor saved the previous Queen by giving her life. When that giantess was about to die... the Queen gave her last energy to save her.. this was the legend -- if the Queen gave love to the giantess, and the giantess loved the Queen in return, one of them will die..."

"You are going to transfer all your Galaxy energy to Belamis ?" The Princess shouted.

"Aurora, this has to be done... otherwise Belamis could not become the ultimate Gariusu giantess to protect Galaxy energy, and to fight the enemies.." The old Queen said, in tears.

The Princess cried, and said, "No...... it cannot be true... you don't have to do it.."

Belamis heard the words, and more tears rolled from her eyes, and she shook her head.
Then Belamis exerted her body even harder, trying to break free from the energy field, but the field was like a gripping hand, Belamis could not break free, and she wailed loudly....

"Just a bit more...." The old Queen continued beaming the Galaxy Energy to Belamis.

As the Galaxy Energy strengthened Belamis, Belamis let out a loud roar, and broke free from the energy field.

"...she was so... so strong... not even the scepter could subdue her..." The old Queen wondered. She did not know that Belamis was extraordinarily stronger even than the Gariusu giantess because her body was strengthened by the cyborg technology.

Then suddenly another monster appeared from the sky, flying down to them.

Belamis looked at the Queen and the Princess. She picked them up and placed them in the palace doorway, and then Belamis rushed to fight the monster.

"Belamis..." The old Queen looked at her.

"She is gentle and brave..." The Princess said, "...and the last thing she want to happen is for you to die for her..." The Princess told the old Queen.

The monster was a winged being, holding a spear. It landed, and lashed the spear at Belamis.

Belamis had no weapons, so she could only dodge and avoid the spearhead. Then as Belamis dodged she rolled on the ground at got near the monster, and she kicked the monster.

The monster had tentacles at its back, and the tentacles shot blasts of flames at Belamis. Belamis was hit and moaned in pain.

Then the monster pulled out another spear and used both spears at Belamis. Belamis dodged as she braved the pains on her body. The monster then spitted out venom from its mouth, hitting Belamis eyes.

"Arrhh.." Belamis cried in pain. The venom made Belamis eyes hurt, she shut her eyes and couldn't see.

The monster then poked the spears at Belamis, the spears poked through Belamis chest, one at each of her breast, and the monster pinned Belamis down with the spears.

"Belamis!!" The Princess yelled.

Belamis could not move, the spears pinned her to the ground, and she was seriously injured.

Belamis rubbed her eyes to wipe off the venom, and she could see. The monster then shot more blasts at her.

"Arrhh...." Belamis groaned in pain, and tried to pull the spears out of her body, but the monster stepped on her right arm, then use a sword and jabbed her left arm. Belamis was totally overpowered by the monster.

"I have to give Belamis all of the Galaxy Energy.." The old Queen said, and she hopped on her shuttle and flew right to Belamis, who was fighting the monster.

Belamis saw the old Queen approached, she roared and forced herself to rise up. As she did this, the spears went right through her body.

The monster waved the sword and jabbed Belamis at her left side. Belamis grabbed the monster's hand and punched it, then she used her handchop and hit the monster, forcing it to let go of the sword.

But the monster was tough, it stepped back, and then sprayed out sharp spikes, hitting Belamis.

Belamis fell to the ground, with several spikes piercing deeply to her body.

The monster then shot out a beam of electromagnetic energy, hitting Belamis.

Belamis groaned in pain, and she tried to stand up and fight.

"Belamis... receive the energy." The old Queen approached her, then a beam of Galaxy Energy shot at Belamis chest.

"Queen..." Belamis said. The monster then shot the electromagnetic beam at the old Queen, as she gave out her last bit of energy.

"No...!" Belamis shouted, as the old Queen's shuttle was hit. Belamis caught the old Queen on her palms.

The monster pulled another spear and headed towards Belamis. Belamis was holding the old Queen with both hands and could not fight, and the spear poked through her chest.

Yet Belamis ignored the onslaught, and looked at the old Queen, in tears.

"... Belamis.... I have given you my last bit of energy...".

Immediately Belamis felt a strong burst of energy through her body and her muscles flexed and became much stronger.

The monster tried to pull the spear out, but couldn't.

Belamis exerted her pectorals so hard that the spear was grabbed by her muscles, she roared and then pulled the sword from her torso and slashed the head off the monster.

Then she leaped back, and the spear was pulled out. Belamis then threw the sword at the monster, the sword jabbed through the monster, and the monster exploded.

With blood all over, Belamis knelt down, holding the old Queen in her palms, and Belamis cried.

The old Queen looked at the innocent giantess before her and cried too. The old Queen was very weak.

"No...." Belamis was teary, and she tried to use her own life force to save the old Queen.

The old Queen raised her scepter and the energy field forced Belamis to put down the old Queen and hold her in a kneeling position, so that she could not move.

Belamis wailed in sorrow, as she was subdued by the energy. The Princess ran towards them.

"You majesty!!" The Princess approached the old Queen.

"My last bit of the Galaxy energy in me... was meant for sustaining me until the Gariusu giantess come... now she is here.." She looked at the teary Belamis.

"...but you will die..." The Princess said.

"... I should have died a long time ago, if I was not waiting for her.." The old Queen looked at Belamis.

Belamis tried to break free from the energy field, as she was wailing out loudly. She didn't want the Queen to sacrifice for her. Belamis struggled fiercely, and her exertion caused her to bleed more profusely, and blood was all over Belamis, with her wailing loudly.

"...it will be painful for her heart now..." The old Queen said, she pointed the scepter at Belamis, strengthening the field that entrapped Belamis.

"This scepter was used by the previous Queen.... she was told to enslave the giantess using this... but in fact this was the scepter to protect the giantess...." The energy field strengthened, tightening the grip at Belamis, with Belamis in tears, struggling fiercely.

The Princess looked at Belamis, and also the old Queen, and her heart was broken.

Belamis looked at the queen, in tears, as she felt the energy field gripping her like ropes, tightening onto her. She tried even harder to break away, then in a roar she broke free again.

Belamis' effort to break free was so powerful that the old Queen could not hold on to the scepter and dropped it. Immediately Belamis put her palm between the old Queen and the scepter to stop her from picking it up. Belamis looked at Princess Aurora, and Princess Aurora immediately got the hint, she picked up the scepter.

The old Queen saw that Belamis was so much stronger, and she stopped her from giving her last bit of energy. The old Queen looked at Belamis, and said, "Belamis...... why ?"

Belamis looked at the old Queen, and picked her up in her palms. The old Queen began to collapse, and Belamis radiated her own life force to try and restore the ailing old Queen, and tears rolled out of Belamis eyes.

The old Queen felt energy was streaming into her body, "..... Belamis... you are using your own life force to save me...... in the legend.... the giantess knocked off the scepter from the previous Queen's hand...then she trapped the Queen instead... and the giantess fought bravely....and finally the monsters captured the giantess, and tortured her to near death...before she dealt the final blow and killed them.... the giantess nearly died for the Queen..." The old Queen recalled..she knew the horrible torture that Belamis one day would suffer, and she looked at Belamis, who was crying.

"Belamis has a brave soul, and a heart full of love.... that will bring her even more suffering.." The old Queen looked at Belamis, she was crying for Belamis, as she could tell by Belamis' demeanor, she would be a very brave and altruistic giantess.

"Queen...." Belamis uttered in her low vice, and though she met her only a short period, Belamis already felt she was like her mother, and the idea that the old Queen died for her was unthinkable.

"Belamis...." The old Queen signed, and closed her eyes. She was too weak.

Belamis picked up the old Queen in her palms, and the Princess saw Belamis was teary.

Belamis looked, then she looked up the heavens, with tears rolling out of her eyes. The Princess heard and her heart broke as she saw Belamis cried.

Belamis was bleeding profusely. Princess Aurora held up the scepter, and a beam hit Belamis head, turning her back to human form. In human form Belamis was carrying the old Queen in her arms.

"Belamis..." The Princess exclaimed.

".. she is very weak..." Belamis said, face covered with tears, but she tried to sound calm.

"...the only way to save her is to bring her back to the Great Planet.." Replied the Princess.

Belamis looked at the old Queen in coma, and replied, ".... then we had to go...".

Belamis carried the old Queen into Queen Cosmos, with Princess Aurora following, and in no time Queen Cosmos launched.

"It will again take us three weeks to get there..." Princess Aurora said.

"We need help..." Belamis replied.

Then Belamis noticed the scepter which the old Queen used to subdue her. Aurora was the new owner of the scepter.

"Belamis... I will not use this at you.." Princess Aurora said, ".... you are not my slave, but my friend... and you are a free spirit.."

Belamis nodded, and said, "Thanks..." Belamis pushed the thrust of Queen Cosmos and set it full speed ahead, trying to get back to the Great Planet.

The voice actor of Belamis in Hong Kong version

After a few searches, I think I found the voice actor for the Hong Kong version of Belamis.

Her surname is 曾，but due to the patchiness of Internet information, three similar names turned up 曾慶鈺、曾庆瞹 or 曾庆旺。I finally confirmed that the name should be 曾慶鈺.

There were a number of similarities between 曾慶鈺 and Ohara Noriko。
She also voice acted a number of the same characters by Ohara Noriko 小原乃梨子，including 野比のび太 (大雄) in ドラえもん (Doraemon 多啦A夢/叮噹) and Conan 高立 コナン (Conan the future boy 未来少年コナン 高立的未來世界）。

Like Ohara，she voiced acted also the many of the movie editions of ドラえもん (Doraemon 多啦A夢/叮噹)。

曾慶鈺 emigrated to Canada in 1991 and the role of 野比のび太 was taken up by another female voice actor 盧素娟。2006 盧素娟 was sick with cancer, and she could not finish the dubbing of another ドラえもん (Doraemon) movieドラえもん のび太のワンニャン時空伝 (大雄的貓狗時空傳)。

The company called 曾慶鈺 back in order to finish the dubbing work of the movie.

The records of Hong Kong voice actors were incomplete, many of the shows before 1980 were missing from the online version.
Judging from the pattern, it was quite likely that she also voice acted a few other same characters in Cantonese as those by Ohara. For example I recognized 曾慶鈺's voice in several other cartoons which Ohara voice acted.

I remebered the Chinese voice of Belamis, and was surprised to find out that the voice color, quality and tone was so similar to the original Japanese soundtrack, as if Ohara Noriko talking in Cantonese (one variation of Chinese used by several tens of millions of Chinese) - the voices are nearly identical in style, matched closely that of Ohara's orginal dub.

Chapter 13 The stunt and the ultimate weapon

Belamis rested for a few days before she could get of the bed.

Djorgo met her. Belamis looked and said, "Thank you...for admiring me.." She said.

Djorgo nodded. "I am envy at Kugo..".

As usual, Belamis let Kugo help her stretched. "Push even harder..." She said.

Then she and Kugo practiced fighting.

Queen Cosmos was about days before the safe haven.

Then alarms sounded.

"What is that ?" Kugo yelled.

On the radar were many large Golinkor space battleships surrounding Queen Cosmos.

"Where did they come from ???" The Princess said.

"...Warp flight.." Belamis said, "They tracked us to here...".

"Let's go out and fight them!!" Kugo yelled.

"No..." Belamis put her hands on Kugo's shoulder and shook her head.

"She was right." Djorgo said.

"We will in the lines of fire.....no matter how.... Queen Cosmos will be hit... we only have three of us, but they had a whole fleet..." Belamis said.

"What shall we do ?" Kugo said.

Belamis looked at the Princess.

"We will surrender." Djorgo transmitted a message. "Please do not harm the Princess."

The Golinkor commander looked, and smiled. "Hahahaha, that's a smart move."

"Send in the troops, and took them all." He commanded.

Then suddenly a fighter flew away. It was Belamis' fighter.

"Let's pursue it." A lieutenant said.

The Golinkor commander said, "Never mind that single cyborg... we got the princess. Go and take them."

The Golinkor troops arrived at Queen Cosmos, there Kugo, Djorgo and the Princess in a hood were there.

"Use the guiding beam and get Queen Cosmos into our ship." The Gollinkor commander said.

Queen Cosmos was guided by the beam and got into their battleship. The troops hold guns at Djorgo, Kugo and the Princess. They took Djorgo's rifle. The troop escorted them out.

"Hahahaha... now you are our prisoners!!" The commander laughed. "Take them to the main command room. I will interrogate them myself!"

The troops took the trio to the central commander room. The troops hold them at gun point, and none of the said a word until they arrived at the commander room.

"Hahaha, before I interrogate the Princess, let me ask the two of you cyborgs, any last words ?" As the Golinkor drew his gun.

Then suddenly he sensed something strange.

"You are the Princess...? but why did you look so calm...?"

The "Princess" smiled, then she took the hood off her.... it was Belamis, wearing the Princess robes...

"Ha!!!!!!" She invoked her suit and then she was in fighting suit, helmet and cape, and drew her sword.

"Good grief...!!" The soldiers fired, but Belamis was too quick. She struck down a few of them, then they shot "Kugo". "Kugo" disappeared. Belamis grabbed the rifle they confiscated and threw it to Djorgo whilst she freed him.

"Ha ha !" Djorgo shot at the other soldiers. In no time, the commander and soldiers were all down.

This was a plan devised by Belamis.

Whilst they faked surrender, Belamis asked for the Princess' outfit and disguised herself as her.
Then Kugo used his clone trick to produce a clone, while he and the Princess hid inside a secret chamber in Queen Cosmos.

"Kugo, are you OK ? " Belamis said in the transmission.

"Good as ever!" Kugo replied.

"We will shut down the energy shield and open the gate." Belamis said. "Djorgo, guard the door and stall them!"

Belamis looked, and immediately found the controls, and shutdown the energy shield, and open the main gate.

"Go, get Queen Cosmos out!" Belamis said.

"Yeah!!! You are really brilliant!!" Kugo smiled.

Djorgo also smiled, "Your wits is just marvelous...".

"Have you got the explosives?" Belamis said.

"Yes." Djorgo replied.

"Go and plant them in this craft." Belamis said, "..and leave.."

"How do you leave ?" Djorgo could summon his marine probe.

"Don't you remember I can move at lightning speed ?" Belamis smiled, "..besides I had to meet Kugo.."

"Take care then..." Djorgo said.

He ran and planted explosives everywhere.

Meanwhile Belamis steered the battleship and turned it towards the other Golinkor battleship.

"Let's play." She said.

She then steered the ship so that it was rotating and turning, tossing all the enemy crew tumbling about.

"Wow..... Belamis can be that playful..." Djorgo thought, as he ran away.

"Now some fireworks..." Belamis thought, as she turned on the cannons and started firing at the other Golinkor ships.

The fleet of Golinkor ships was in total chaos.

"Time to go.." Belamis thought, then she started the self destructing sequence, and began running at her lightning speed.

In Queen Cosmos, the Princess and Kugo looked in wonder.

"Belamis was really clever to have thought of this." The Princess remembered when they faked the surrender, Belamis asked her, "Do you have clothes for me ?"
"Why are you asking this question now ?" Princess replied.

"Do you have clothes for me ?" Belamis said.

"Only robes..." The Princess answered.

"Kugo, create a clone of yourself." Belamis said.

"Why ?" Kugo asked.

Belamis spoke softly to the Princess, "The enemy have never met you.. I will disguise myself to pretend to be you and let them take me..."

Belamis then spoke softly to Kugo, "Protect the Princess... is there any place to hide in Queen Cosmos ?"

Kugo nodded.

That was how the plan conceived in just a few minutes. Belamis then commanded her jet to fly away, another decoy.

"She was such a clever fighter..." Kugo remarked.

As the Golinkor battleship exploded, Belamis escaped just in the last second, landing onto her jet and flew towards Queen Cosmos with Djorgo's probe.

"Bravo!!" Kugo yelled.

Belamis got the battleship crashing and shooting at the other Golinkor ships, severely damaging those other ships, and that fleet could not pursue Queen Cosmos.

"She also thought of the plan to debilitate the enemy...that was so clever!" Djorgo smiled.

They flew beside Queen Cosmos, and was about to leave the place.

"What the...?" Djorgo exclaimed in horror....

A large armada of space battleship arrived by warp flight before them. There were at least 20 of them.

"Good grief....!!" Kugo was frightened too.

Belamis in her jet, flew up front and looked.

"....my wits... won't work with this.." She thought. "There's no escape...we only have three cyborgs..."

Kugo flew out in his Star Probe and was at Belamis side.

"We have to protect the Princess." Kugo yelled.

But Belamis was silent. It was hopeless, they were out gunned, and all of the three cyborgs would die and still they could not save the Princess.

"What can I do...even I die...they would still have the Princess.." She thought.

"Gariusu giant.... Belamis.... can you hear us..." Suddenly a voice called Belamis.

"What is it ?" Belamis looked around.

"Belamis...the Gariusu giantess warrior....can you hear us..." The voice continued.

"What is it Belamis ?" Kugo said, as he noticed Belamis was looking around.

"Kugo...fallback with Djorgo and Queen Cosmos..." She shouted.

"No...I am not leaving without you!!" Kugo said.

"Kugo....." Belamis looked at him, "I will follow..... I promise!" She said.

Kugo reluctantly fallback.

Belamis listened, then she saw pockets of energy balls coming towards her.

"Who are you ? " Belamis asked.

"We are beings who know about your race since your race existed..." The voice said. "We will help you...trust us.."

Belamis looked, and she instinctively knew these were friendly beings.

"How ? " Belamis asked.

"Drew your sword...and relax your body..."

Belamis followed, holding her sword up, and relaxing.

"We are getting your body to absorb the cosmic energy around you...." The voice said.

Immediate Belamis felt a strong streak of energy threw her body, it caused her body to ache.

"Arh...." Belamis moaned.

"Don't be afraid... your body is a medium, the energy will be sent out via your sword... just endure..." The voices told Belamis.

Kugo, Djorgo and the Princess saw Belamis hold out her sword, and a glow was around her..

"What is happening ??" The Princess asked.

"...it seems...she is absorbing energy around her..." Djorgo punched his pocket computer.

"Almost there..." The voices said, as the energy flowed through Belamis, and she felt her body was burning...the pain was excruciating.....she endured it..

"Now.... Tai Kon Chan!!" The voices said.

Belamis shouted, "Space sword!!" She welded her sword and swirl it to a chopping move.

Immediately a wave of energy beamed out from her sword, hitting all of the space battleships in the armada.

The space battleships then froze, then split into halves....

Then after Belamis waved her sword, the second wave hit those battleship like a tsunami. It was a strong wave of destructive energy, tearing the metals of the battleships open, reducing everything in those battleships to dusts....

The battleships spitted into two and broke up into trillions of scrap metals...then into dusts...

"What is that ???" Djorgo wondered, as he saw the destructive energy unleashed from Belamis sword.

"Oh my goodness..." The Princess said.

Kugo looked, "Where is all that energy come from ?"

Belamis hold her sword, then she put it back into its sheave, and then...she collapsed.

"Belamis!" Kugo rushed forward and hold her...Belamis was unconscious.

"Take her back to Queen Cosmos..." Djorgo said, as he looked at the total destruction Belamis did to the armada of enemy ships. She single-handedly annihilated the whole fleet. All the battleships were utterly destroyed..reduced to space dust....

They rushed Belamis to the sick room. "No signs of life in her.." Djorgo said.

"What??" Kugo yelled.

"She is very weak, we must connect her to the cyborg reviving chamber fast!!" Djorgo said.

Kugo put her in the cyborg reviving chamber in Queen Cosmos, retrofitted by Dr. Kitty. Kugo flicked the switch, and energy was then pumping to the chamber, for Belamis to absorb.

"...her life energy is there...she's OK.." Djorgo signed.

Kugo breathed a sigh of relieve, and so did the Princess.

"What happened...?" Kugo asked.

"I cannot answer that ... not until I analyzed all the data.." Djorgo replied.

"Take care of her.." Djorgo said.

Kugo nodded. He looked at Belamis, and thought, "...what is it in you that is so powerful....?"

"What happened ?" Kugo asked.

Djorgo sent all the data back to Earth for Dr. Kitty to analyze.

Dr. Kitty said, "Belamis seems to have the capability to use the cosmic energy around her...a huge amount of it was directed to her sword..."

"You mean... it was the cosmic energy that did it ?" Kugo asked.

"The amount of energy her sword sent out to the Golinkor armada was immense, her body became a channel of the energy..." Dr. Kitty continued.

"...why did she collapse ?" Kugo asked.

"....let me draw an analogy... the energy she pooled together gathered into something like a big dynamite... but to ignite it... we need the fuse or trigger.... that is Belamis own life energy.." Dr. Kitty said.

"..and after the explosion of the dynamite, the fuse will also be burnt out..". Dr. Kitty continued.

All then understood why Belamis collapsed.

"The energy from the cosmos was all concentrated on her sword, and Belamis need to use her life energy to unleash it...." Dr. Kitty said.

"In this instant, she used up 70% of her own life energy..." Dr. Kitty said, "..and if she use this same weapon again...she will die...".

Belamis was still in a coma.

Kugo looked, and hold her hands, "She is still the same brave soul.." Kugo said, in tears....

The Princess looked, and said, "...I felt a presence around Belamis..."

Dr. Kitty said, "A presence..?"

The Princess said, "My...telepathy felt that Belamis is talking to some beings before she use this weapon..... those beings knew Belamis is a Gariusu giantess..."

"...who are these beings ?" Kugo and the others wondered.

Chapter 12 Precious moments together and the poisonous scorpion

Whilst Djorgo, Kugo and Belamis escorted the Princess, Kugo and Belamis took time to be together. They were cyborgs, and thus did not need to sleep, and when the Queen Cosmos was in cruising mode, they would be outside, lying down in the front platform.

Kugo would let Belamis rest on his chest, and hold her.

"So..... for how long have you been wandering alone in the cosmos..." Kugo asked.

Belamis replied, "almost two years...before I met you..."

"I will rest at deserted planets or asteroids.... but I would not fall asleep..." She said.

"Why ?"

"Because...when I fell asleep I would have nightmares ..." Belamis replied.

"Only recently... after Dr. Kitty saved me...and I reunited with you... I could have a good sleep..."

Kugo smelled her hair, and pat her shoulders. "You are like your father... er... adopted father..."

"He's my father indeed.... if not for him, and mother... I would have died..." Belamis said.

"Yes.... I don't show my feelings easily.... not when I am in uniform or fighting.." Belamis replied.

"You bottled too much grief and sadness in you..." Kugo replied, looking her in the eyes.

"I swallowed all my sorrows, sadness, pain and grief... because I am a born fighter..." Belamis replied, "...but I am human.....Dr. Kitty rescue me... and my days in the orphanage made me realize this.."

"You know.... when I nearly died.... I had a dream..." Kugo said.

"What dream ?"

"I saw you in tears, running and calling me to return... after I woke up, my hair and face was wet.." Kugo said.

"Why is it ?"

"Because... when you transformed into the giantess, you cried and your tears dropped on me when you hold me in your big palms... Djorgo told me.." Kugo replied and chuckled.

Belamis smiled, and leaned towards Kugo. "I cannot loose you.... you can risk your life for me.... I will not want to loose you..."

The two would spend night after night together..because by the end of the third week, it would be a long while before they could see each other.

During the day Belamis still wore a straight face, patrolling most of the time by flying around Queen Cosmos in her jet.

"Nothing abnormal around..." Belamis said. "Good.... return to Queen Cosmos and take a break!" Kugo said.

Djorgo at the pilot seat watched the monitors, and Princess looked at Kugo, and smiled.

She clearly saw Belamis and Kugo was in love, and their relationship was even more closer.

"I will take turn to patrol..." Djorgo smiled, "You take over the pilot seat!" Kugo took over the pilot seat.

Belamis entered the cockpit, and sat down.

"The journey will take another 4 days..." Belamis said.

She and Kugo will stay in the cockpit, even when the Princess retire, they would not sleep.

This day, Belamis and others are all in the cockpit, and would stop over a planet.

Queen Cosmos landed.

"Let's not disturb the people..." Princess said.

The rest agreed.

Belamis looked around, and found a doll on the ground, she picked it up...then a girl walked up to her..

"Thanks.... it's mine.."

Belamis looked at the little girl, she knelt down, and then stroked the girl's hair, "Here you are..." As Belamis patted the dust of the doll, and handed it back to the girl. The girl hugged Belamis.

Then the girl held Belamis hand, and said, "Come and play with us..." She pulled.

Belamis hesitated, for Queen Cosmos would leave anytime, but she let the girl dragged her anyway. Her heart was somehow softened and could not refuse her.

So, Belamis followed the little girl, and there were a group of children playing. She looked at them and they reminded her of the orphanage and the children there.

She hold up one of the boys higher with her arms, and smiled at him. The boy laughed.

Kugo and Princess Aurora looked.

"She is a kind soul..." Princess Aurora said.

Then Belamis played her famous trick with the children, supporting three of them on her arms and shoulder.

"Hold tight... don't fell off.." Belamis said, as she hold the children.

Kugo also joined in the play, and the two laughed.

The company quickly acquired needed supplies, food, fuel etc.

"We have to leave..." Djorgo said.

"Just a bit more.." Kugo shouted, as he chased the children.

Then suddenly the people screamed in horror from afar.

A giant scorpion like monster appeared in the city.

"Monster!!" Belamis shouted.

"It's a result of the deteriorating Galaxy Energy..." Djorgo said.

"Let's go and drive it away!!!" Kugo shouted.

He jumped to the Star Probe and began to attack.

Belamis shouted, "Wait for me!!" She jumped onto her space bike and followed.

The giant scorpion like monster welded its tail, Kugo charged at it.

The monster erected its tail and spitted out poison. Kugo was hit. He and his Star Probe fell.

"Kugo!!" Belamis yelled and drove her space bike and attacked the monster.

Then the monster sprayed poison to her... Belamis was it and also went down...

She felt dizzy, as she struggled up. "The poisonous fume...." She thought.

"No..... I have to stop it!!!..." She then saw the monster sprayed its poison to the people... she saw the girl she helped.

Belamis got back to her space bike and flew to the monster, resuming her attack.

The poisonous fume spread, and people fell to the ground, poisoned.

The children they met went running, some fell to the ground.

"No!!!" Then she saw the little girl, running and coughing, then slowly she collapsed.

Then the scorpion's tail hit her and the space bike and she fell to the ground. The scorpion used one of its front clamps and grabbed Belamis.

"Arrh..." Belamis yelled, as her body was stabbed by the sharp spikes in the claws, and severely injured...she tried to struggle free.

Belamis looked at Kugo and the people.
Kugo was unconscious, and many people fell -- the people were poisoned.

She looked at the girl, which reminded her own childhood and those children in the orphanage.

Then in Belamis heart, her altruistic spirit was aroused... she wanted to protect and save them....then her forehead glowed.

White beams shot out of her eyes, and hands, then she lost her suit, and became naked.

Djorgo saw all that, "She is changing again...."

Belamis roared, as her body enlarged, breaking free from the clamp of the monster -- she transformed to the giantess.

The poison was in the form of fumes, and the fume was in the air spreading.

Belamis in her giantess form, ran and sheltered the innocent people of the planet.

"Belamis!!" Djorgo was inside the cockpit of his probe, safe from the fumes, the Princess helped the others.

Belamis turned, and saw the probe of Djorgo.

"Belamis!! The poisonous fumes are spreading!!" Shouted Djorgo.

The fume was everywhere... without thinking, Belamis just inhaled all the fumes into her body..... and then she felt dizzy....she shook her head.

Djorgo saw all that, and came in his probe, and said, "Belamis...!!! Are you OK ???"

Belamis looked at Djorgo, nodded.

"She still has her intellect, she understands me..." Djorgjo thought. He then looked at the monster and quickly checked his computer.

Belamis shook her head, and charged forward, kicked and punched the monster, pressing it down, and roared as she fought it.

She looked at Kugo. Kugo was gradually regaining consciousness.

"Ku...go...." She muttered in her giantess talk.

"My goodness...." Djorgo thought as he looked at the result from his computer.

Belamis lifted the monster, threw it to a rock, the monster roared, and lifted its tail again.

"Belamis!!! Don't make any wounds on that monster!!" Djorgo yelled.

Belamis turned, and looked at him, she looked shocked, and listened.

"That monster's venom is in all its blood.... if you open a wound on it... the poison would escape.. the poison will immediately turn to poisonous fume and fill the air!!!" Djorgo said.

The monster lashed its claws at Belamis, cutting her right arm. Belamis dodged and pressed her left hand on the wound.

Belamis looked, then charged, and tried to pin down the scorpion like monster. The monster raised its claws and clamped Belamis' both arms with its front claws.

"Arh...." Belamis groaned as her arms were clamped.

"The monster's poison... if all of them are released...can kill all lifeforms in this planet.... equivalent to the entire Earth!!!" Djorgo yelled.

Belamis heard, then she saw the scorpion monster raised its tail again.

She looked, then suddenly she yelled, and broke free from the claws, and charged to the tail.

"What the ???" Djorgo and Kugo yelled.

The scorpion monster lashed its sting, but Belamis grap the tail, and let the poisonous sting poke deep into her body.

Kugo yelled, "No!!" The sound of the sting piercing into Belamis body was frightening...

The scorpion wriggled its tail, so the spike moved about, causing more injuries in Belamis body.

Yet they heard Belamis' roar, she endured the pain, then she pulled at the scorpion monster tail, pulling the sting, and Belamis push the sting even deeper into her body, right into her left rib.

"No..." Princess would dare to watch and she covered her ears...as the sound of the sting sinking deeper into Belamis' body frightened her...

"ar...ar...." Belamis let out groaning sounds, as she hold onto the tail, agonizing.

The monster tried to pull its tail sting out, but Belamis grabbed hard and then she roared loudly.

"What is she doing ???" Kugo raised his Astro-Lance.

"No...no don't strike yet...!" Djorgo stopped Kugo. He looked and there he saw Belamis grabbed the monster's tail tightly, she saw a length of cable, and she grabbed it, quickly tying the cable on herself and the big tail, bounding them together.

"She fixed the tail of the monster, and tied herself to it..." Djorgo murmured...

"She is trying to absorb all the venom to her body...!!" Djorgo said.

Kugo said, "What...???"

"....so that....when all the venom is in her body...we can strike..." Djoro replied, looking at Belamis, touched by her bravery.

Belamis hold the tail with her arms, then she grabbed hold of the tail harder, and her body tone turned from gray gradually to light blue... as the poison was injected to her body.....she clutched her teeth..the poison was affecting her...Belamis felt dizzy and her vision was blurring...

"No!!!" Kugo shouted.

Belamis hold onto the monster. She was shaking, then she exerted her muscles... trying absorb as much of the poison as she could.

The monster could not move, as Belamis grabbed hold of it with all her might, despite she was poisoned, she still exerted her muscles.

Then Belamis looked at Djorgo and Kugo, and she nodded.

"Its the chance!!" Djorgo said.

"OK!!" Kugo charged, and strike the monster with Astro-Lance energy beam.

There was a great explosion, and the monster was destroyed.

Belamis hold the spike with the tail from the monster, breathed heavily. She pulled the spike out... there was no poisonous fumes.

"She did it..." Djorgo said.

After Belamis pulled the spike out, she then shook vigorously, and began to collapse, but she was still conscious. She looked at Kugo, and said, "Ku....go..."

"Belamis!!" Kugo yelled.

"She is also poisoned..." Djorgo said.

Belamis was shaking...in pain, she stretched out her right arm, and opened her palm. She was holding a doll, the very same doll she returned to the girl.

"We must try to save the people!!!" Princess Aurora came crying.

"What is it...?" Kugo asked.

"The monster's poison hit many of the people here..." Princess Aurora said. "The people here has doctors, but...there were no antidote for the poison..."

"...but... we need to have the correct serum to make the antidote..." Djorgo said, "...we don't have it......." Djorgo said.

"What ?" Princess cried.

A medical man came and said, "We have take the people to our facilities....we only have make shift medications to ease the pain... but the poison is slowly killing the people!"

Many people were poisoned by the fumes, and moaning in the planet's hospital. Their medical people were scrambling to try and comfort the people. There include the children Belamis met.

Then Belamis gave out a low sounding voice, "Ku...go..."

"Belamis.. what is it ?" Kugo asked.

Belamis looked at Kugo, the Princess, and Djorgo in her giantess form. She then pointed at her wound, the wound pierced by the spike of the monster, which was bleeding.

Djorgo looked, then he said in doubt, "Belamis... are you saying...?"

Belamis nodded, and pointed at her blood.

"What is she trying to say ?" Kugo demanded.

"I think... Belamis is trying to tell us that.. we can use her blood...to prepare serum for the antidote for the poison.." Djorgo said.

"Are you out of your mind ? Her blood ?" Kugo cried.

"Are you sure?" Princess asked.

"Belamis..... do you mean you want us to use your blood to make the antidote?" Djorgo said.

Belamis nodded.

"Belamis... are you out of your mind???" Kugo yelled.

"No...no...Kugo... what she said makes a lot of sense!! Although she cannot talk, her intellect is still there..... she figured it out..." Djorgo said.

"What ?" Kugo asked.

"...look....she inhaled all the poisonous fumes, she could withstand the poison, and then all the poison of the monster was injected into her body..... that amount could kill all people here, but she is still conscious..." Djorgo said.

Kugo and the Princess looked. Belamis was conscious, though visibly she was very weak.

"...in other words, Belamis' body is strong enough to withstand the toxin in the scorpion's venom....if my guess is correct, her blood has the antibody to resist the poison, we can extract from her blood the antidote and save the people..." Djorgo said.

Belamis smiled and nodded, and she hold her right palm out...there was the doll she returned to the girls.

"Let's get her blood sample...and contact Dr. Kitty...We must hurry, the doctors could only keep the people alive for another 8 hours..." The Princess said.

Djorgo and Kugo approached, and looked at the horrid wound at the side of Belamis body.

Kugo looked into Belamis eyes, and said, "Belamis.... you are very brave...".

Djorgo hold up a large syringe, place the needle at Belamis wound, he looked at the wound and found a blood vessel there, and he poked the needle in, drawing some blood from Belamis.

Belamis hold very still.

"Done." Djorgo said, and he looked at Belamis.

Belamis nodded, then she put her left hand on the wound which was still bleeding, and laid down, breathing heavily.

Kugo transformed to his giant size, and let Belamis head rest on his knees.

Belamis lied still, her blood sample analysis data was sent to Earth, after 2 hours Dr. Kitty sent her analysis back, then in the transmission, was sad, "....Belamis idea was correct...but..."

"..but what..?" Kugo asked.

"...to save the people here... around 200 of them.... we need to use half of her blood...." Dr. Kitty said.

"What ? " All was stunned.

"That's our projection...." Dr. Kitty replied...sadly.

"We must protect Belamis... if she looses half of her blood now..she will be too weak.." Kugo said.

Belamis looked at Kugo.

"Belamis..." Kugo said.

"Kugo...." Belamis said. She opened her right palm again, there in her palm was the doll...

"Ku...go..." Belamis in tears.... muttered the words.

"She wanted you to protect the people...not her.." Djorgo said.

"Belamis..!!!" Kugo was touched by her altruistic response,

"I will work with the doctors here, and start the sequence of drawing your blood to make the antidote..." Djorgo said.

Belamis nodded.

Kugo looked at her, and said, "I will protect the people...hang on!!" He gently stood up, resting Belamis head on the ground, and touched her hair, before he transformed back to human size.

Kugo then proceeded in his Star Probe, as he launched it, he flew above Belamis, and looked at her, Belamis sat up, and nodded, as Kugo circled around her in his Star Probe.

"I will protect the sick people now.." He said, and he raced to the hospital.

Belamis watched Kugo flew to the hospital, and muttered, "..Ku...go..."

Djorgo was touched by their love, and looked at Belamis.

"We have to start the blood transfusion.... you have to lie down again." He said to Belamis.

Belamis nodded, and laid down. Djorgo started the blood transfusion sequence to draw Belamis blood.

"We will draw blood from the vein on your arm." Djorgo said gently to Belamis, and she nodded.

Queen Cosmos stretched out a long robotic arm, with a long spike on it, connected to a long bank of cells from the medical facilities in the planet.

Belamis in her giantess form, stayed very calm.

"The needle will poke your arm's vein." Djorgo said.

Belamis stretched out her left arm. Then the needle poked into her left arm's vein and began to draw blood from her body.

"You will feel very weak... we are going to draw half of your blood out..." Djorgo said, preparing Belamis. Belamis nodded.

Djorgo looked at Belamis as the cells for hold her blood was filled, then said, "You are very brave...."

Belamis looked, and listened.

"I am not sure in this form if you can understand me..." Djorgo said. Belamis nodded again.

".... actually, do you know you could have died just by absorbing all the venom to your body ?" Djorgo said.

Belamis looked at Djorgo, naked and in her giantess form, nodded.

"...so...you used the cables to tie yourself to the monster... in case if you collapse...the monster cannot escape..." Djorgo said, as he recalled what Belamis did. Belamis nodded again.

"You are brave, but at the same time still very cool-headed..." He looked at Belamis.
"...I think I would have be in love with you too..." Djorgo said, "..and I hope you forget this when you change back to human form.." Djorgo said.

Belamis looked, and she opened her mouth....in a kind of surprise look...then she shook her head.

Djorgo chuckled, and said, "...in this form.. you are so innocent....and also direct..."

The blood transfusion started, drawing blood from Belamis giantess body.

Belamis felt a bit dizzy, but she remained calm.

Djorgo looked at her, and thought..."please.... no attacks...if there is a attack...Belamis would be killed...". He knew that any lifeforms loosing half its blood would be dangerous.


Kugo guarded the hospital, but worried about Belamis. Luckily no attacks happened.


"Done!!" Djorgo declared.

After an hour the transfusion completed.

Belamis was conscious, but weak. She smiled.

"Let me pull the needle out.." Djorgo controlled the robotic arm, and the needle at Belamis left arm was pulled out.

Then Princess came with a large quantities of cotton wool, woven to two large globs, and handed to Belamis...

"You press this against your arm and the wound..." She said.

Belamis smiled, and place the cotton wool over her wound.

The planet's medical personnel quickly transported Belamis blood to their facilities.

Djorgo and the medical persons worked frantically, and looked at the microscope.

"Here's the serum from the blood..." The person said. Belamis blood was placed in centrifuge so that only the fluid part with her antibodies were extracted.

Djorgo dropped one drop of the serum on one blood sample of the sick people and gazed in the microscope - the serum worked, the blood was de-toxicated.

"Good!! It worked." Djorgo yelled. Kugo was at the said, and ran out to Belamis.

"Belamis.. it worked!!" Kugo yelled.

Belamis smiled.

The antidote was prepared, and all of the people were saved.

Belamis then changed back to her human form, and fall into a coma.

As she woke up, Kugo was at her bedside, holding her hands.

Queen Cosmos was air borne and left the planet.

"Come with me..." Kugo said gently, and he picked up Belamis, hold her in his arms.

"No..." Belamis said...she was naked...

"Sorry..." Kugo smiled, "..why not you suit up first..."

"....lazy! " Belamis chucked...and she invoked her suit.

Kugo carried her out to the open, and they gazed at the stars, then Kugo kissed her.

Belamis looked at the planet and smiled.

Then Kugo handed something to Belamis.

"The children there gave you this.." He said.

It was a small bracelet woven with threads, and there was a bead in the shape of the heart.

Belamis hold it in her hands, and smiled.

Chapter 11 The Mighty Duo and Belamis' real identity

Queen Cosmos stopped over a small asteroid where the company could recuperate for two days before they proceed to the next point where they could refill their supplies.

The princess emerged to have some air, but heard sound of weapons clashing. She went out quickly to check, and was shocked to find out that Belamis and Kugo were fighting.

"What are you doing ?" She exclaimed.

Belamis with her sword, and Kugo with her Astro-Lance were fighting intensely, whilst Djorgo sat at a side and watched.

Belamis swordsmanship was graceful and glamorous, her moves were quick and agile, her attacks skillful, where as Kugo responded with equal agility, dancing around like a monkey, yelling around, doing acrobats.

Then Kugo yelled, "Hun shen!!" He used his trick of turning out many of his false images, and attacked Belamis.

Belamis smiled, and then she invoked her high speed move, hitting all those images, and then fighting the real Kugo.

"Stop them!!! " Princess Aurora exclaimed.

Then the two jumped back and stood still, Kugo put away his Astro-Lance, and Belamis put away her sword.

"Bravo!!!" Djorgo clapped and smiled.

Belamis raised her shaded and smiled at Aurora and Djorgo.

"What a good exercise to start the day!!" Kugo smiled as he took his helmet off.

"You are not fighting ?" Princess Aurora asked.

"No..... " Belamis smiled.

"It's a practice, me against Belamis, so that both of us can improve our fighting skills on our weapons.." Kugo said.

"Oh.. I see." Princess Aurora replied.

"It's a joy watching two of you -- Belamis has her graceful and glamorous swordsmanship, Kugo his funny and tricky moves." Djorgo continued.

"You two are both agile and quick, but Belamis is graceful, Kugo is fun to watch. Kugo can produce quasi-self to diverge the enemy, but Belamis has her speedy movement to combat it -- just could not tell which of you is better..." Djorgo said.

"...you have a variety of fighting style, Belamis..." Djorgo continued...

"What is my other fighting style ?" Belamis asked.

"When you are in your giantess form.... you are totally naked, you looses everything, but that moment I saw a brave, pure and almost primeval being, with innocence -- that is beautiful too."

Belamis listened, and recalled her few transformations -- she felt when she was in the giantess form, she only had a single thought -- to protect the weak and the loved ones.

"It is the same person.... but also different..." Kugo said.

"How ? " Belamis asked.

"You are the same brave and kind soul, willing to risk yourself, selfless and fearless." The Princess said.

"..but when you are in your fighting suit, with your sword, you are graceful swordsman, fighting in style, and you looked really cool in that..." She continued, as Belamis listened.

"..but when I saw your giantess form.... you fought only with your body and bare hands, no weapon, naked, without protection....you are full of strength, determination, and innocence. " Kugo said..."..it's like you are telling the world, even with nothing, you will fight bravely." Kugo went towards her, and looked at her eyes.

"...and you...showed your feelings when you become that giant.." Kugo said.

Belamis listened.

Back in Queen Cosmos, Belamis and others were communicating with Dr. Kitty.

"Belamis, we have more information about your giantess form." She said.

"You have a control circuit inside you that is responsible for your transformation. When you see your loved ones in mortal danger, you will transform."

Belamis recalled, and nodded. "Yes....every time I transform.." She looked at Kugo and Dr. Kitty.

"It is an altered ego of you, expressing your inner most feelings and emotions, in that form you allowed your emotions and feelings to surface and free to express..." Dr. Kitty said.

The others agreed, at her human form, Belamis though friendly and kind, would not express her feelings and emotions that easily, only perhaps before Kugo she could be more relaxed.

"It is the same person.... kind, gentle, compassionate, brave.... only your emotions manifested differently.." Dr. Kitty continued.

"You belong to the race of Gariusu giants.." Dr. Kitty continued. This was the first time she disclosed these to Belamis.

"I thought you must know that....... we analyzed your blood and your genetic information...." Dr. Kitty continued.

"Gariusu giants were long banished from the civilized society in Gariusu..." Dr. Kitty said.

Belamis gasped...

"...You figured...." Dr. Kitty replied, she looked sad.

"You were raised by a general in your planet, grew up in a family of soldiers... the elite in your civilization..." Dr. Kitty said.

"...you mean..." Belamis said as her voice shaked.

"You parents are not your real biological parents, they adopted you." Dr. Kitty revealed the most shocking news.

"....no.. it cannot be true..." Belamis voice shaked, then she stormed out of Queen Cosmos.

"Why do you have to tell her this ??" Kugo said.

"....... Belamis will soon find out herself, because of the archives the Galaxy Union recovered... She is the only survivor of Gariusu, those archives.... should be given to her..." Dr. Kitty said.

"..then...who is she ?" Kugo and Djorgo asked.

"When Planet Gariusu blew up, its civilization managed to secure its important archives, and sent it out to space in a capsule. Belamis may be the only citizen of it which survived, and many information were found." Dr. Kitty said.

"We only found this capsule recently, and deciphered the data in it just a few weeks ago. Inside it was a single file about Belamis..." Dr. Kitty continued.

"A file about her...??" Djorgo asked.

"What is it ?" Princess said.

"That means Belamis was special...." Djorgo said, "Important enough for the Gariusu people to create a file about her."

"Yes... Djorgo you are right. The file was about her family, or the family which adopted her. Her father, a general of their star fleet, recorded all information about her meticulously."

It was 20 years ago. A middle aged man was outside the country and was about to leave.

Then there's a sound of a crying baby. The man wondered, "A baby ... in this kind of place ?" He walked to the place where the sound came from, and there under a tree, was a baby wrapped in cloths...

"Oh...what's the baby doing in here..." He picked the baby up...its a girl, and about 2 or 3 months old.

The man started to wonder, "I... I may have to leave her here... but she will die here...."

"A baby in such place cannot be a good sign..." The man thought, as he looked around. He went through the woods, and found giant footprints...

"The giants again...." He thought to himself.

Then far apart, a woman was lying there. She saw the man, and said, "Please.... please...."

"What do you want from me ?" The man asked, feeling compassion to the woman.

"Please... " The lady begged.

"I know who you are.... you are the race of giants...". The man said. "We cannot have anything to do with you."

The man was General Conan, he knew all about the Gariusu giants.

His race and the giants were allies for thousands of years, the giants protected the planet, and fought alongside with their fellow beings on the same planet, and built the civilization together.
The two races lived peacefully together, sharing the goodness of the planet and build their society to a egalitarian ideal world, until 100 years ago, suddenly the race of giants failed to transform, and that was at a time when Gariusu was threatened by aliens. The failure of the giants to transform caused Gariusu forces to lose a key battle, which nearly annihilated all the beings in Gariusu. A great general rose above the ranks and defeated the opponents, and after that he became the ruler. The other race were angry at the giants and blamed them. At that time the giant race lost their ability to transform at all. Being without the transformation, the other race turned their anger to the race of giants, and the ruler ordered to punish the race of giants, who then became as vulnerable as the rest.

The race begged, they were not annihilated, but were banished from the cities, loosing all rights and lived in the wild poorly.

"You know.. we are not to blame for the battles... we cannot help it...." The lady said.

Conan replied, "We know.... we are sympathetic to your race. I know a lot of you died in that battle too.... we wanted that banishment to lift, so that you can have a dignified life, and restore old ideal world..."

"..but now some of you can transform....and we are afraid...." Conan said.

"....no... when we transform, we only transform to save our loved ones... we never attack your people..." The lady said.

Conan signed. He knew the lady told the truth. He saw those giants were gentle, kind, peaceful and had no hatred to them -- they who persecuted them. However the ruling elite did not trust the giant race.

The lady said....and she handed in a bracelet.

Conan looked at the baby, a girl with fair skin, dark hair... and a pair of beautiful blue eyes.

"She is beautiful..." Conan's heart softened. He went forward and helped the lady up, taking of his cloak and wrapped her up, and put the lady into his mobile, and said, "I...I will take care of you and your daughter..."

The Gariusu senate was in the most heated debate, a long streak of debate for months -- it was about the motion to lift the banishment of the race of giants and restore their rights.

"The people are innocent! It's generations already!!" Conan demanded.

"These people are gentle, and will be loyal to us if we restored their rights!" Another senator said.

"After all these years we did to them ? They will revenge us!!" One senator said.

Conan and his allies were the few elite that secretly helped the race of giants, giving food and aid to them, sometimes giving a few of the false identities so that they could live in the cities.

"The race of giants only fought back when they were provoked or attacked, but never lifted a hand against their fellow beings." Conan said. "When they fought back, they never kill anyone of us. They still regarded us as their bothers."

"We have to reconcile...." The other senators said.

"OK. Let's have them back in the cities..." The ruling elite reluctantly agreed.

"But..."

"..but what ?" Conan asked.

The deal was brokered. The race of giants got to live in the city, partially restored their rights, except they cannot enter the military or join the law enforcements. They were allowed to be artists, engineers, scientists etc.

The elite still mistrusted them.

Belamis grew up not knowing her past. Conan took the lady as his wife. The lady was called Rose. Belamis was strong and tough -- Conan loved Rose as well as Belamis, and taught her military stuffs, such as war strategy, shooting and flying jets. Belamis was clever and quick to learn. Belamis excelled in both her studies and also sports. She was fond of swords fighting and also martial arts.

"Dad..." Belamis stormed into Conan's office.

"Make me a cyborg!" Belamis demanded.

"You..? cyborg..??"

Belamis was in tears.... her mother died.... she was distraught, and her last resort to save the planet and the people was for her, already an military officer, a major, decorated with awards and medals for her bravery, to be a cyborg fighter.

"No!!" Conan said.

"Why ???" Belamis cried.

Conan was not allowing her that because.... during the operation to transform her to a cyborg, the scientists and doctors would examine her and would perform a lot of tests... and her identify as a Gariusu giant would be exposed. If found out, Belamis would not only loose her military rank, but probably be executed for violation of the order that banned Gariusu giants from joining the army.

"That's a no and that is final!" Conan exploded.

Belamis ran outside, in tears, and she hit the walls with her fists.

"Belamis...." Conan looked at her. "I cannot let you risk this..."

The situation in Gariusu was deteriorating fast -- the weakening Galaxy Energy affected Gariusu more than other planets. Not just lifeforms were disappearing, monsters swarmed out. The planet's army was overwhelmed.

"We loose another legion again... the seventh in just three months..." The officer reported to the council of generals.

"How about our cyborg fighters..." General Conan asked.

"The procedure is risky, out of 10 volunteers, 7 dies, 1 permanently disabled, and the 2 that finally make it..., they could only realize 20 - 30% of the cyborg anticipated fighting power...not really of much use... and we only had two of them, and they also died in the last battle..." The chief scientist, Dr. Rolan said.

"We have to get other recruits...... who can withstand the procedure better...and deliver the full fighting power of the cyborg" Dr. Rolan said.

"What do you mean ?" General Conan said, ".. I thought those 10 volunteer are already amongst the toughest in our army!! We have no others that can match them..."

"No.....it is a genetic thing..." Dr. Rolan said, "..our body make up, structure... is not the best choice for cyborg procedure..."

"Go on...." Conan asked. "We... have to consider... the **other** race.."

"Are you crazy ? Having the race of giants to be cyborgs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???" The President of Gariusu yelled.

"I am not crazy.... this is our only hope..." Conan said.

"Then....how do we control them ?" The President said.

"Control ???" Conan asked.

"Yes.....".

General Conan and Dr. Rolan were friends since college. "So how's it ?" Dr. Rolan asked.

"He agreed...but..." Conan replied.

Dr. Rolan were back at his labs..

"Honestly, I don't agree with this control thing.." Dr. Rolan said.

"After the Reconciliation, we all saw these people were loyal and treated us like brothers..... we should remove the restrictions now and fight together to save our civilization, as equals, not discriminating them -- otherwise both races will perish with the planet..."

"One act of mistrust is difficult to recover..." Conan said

"So...who's the first person from the race of Gariusu giant to try the procedure..." Dr. Rolan said.

"Come with me... but don't mention about your thought of recruiting the giant race..." Conan said.

Dr. Rolan followed Conan to a room -- there Belamis was waiting.

"You never told me that she's a child from the race of giants..." Dr. Rolan said.

"Yes...I have to keep it a secret... to protect Belamis... and I loved her." Conan looked as Belamis was sedated, ready for the procedure. "She's so fine a girl.... I was blessed to have met her mother married her, ....and adopted Belamis.." He said as he stroked Belamis hair.

"I would not have wanted her to go through this... but... she is the only one we can trust... and she will be loyal, because I fathered her..." Conan said.

"This control unit..." Dr. Rolan said, "Of course will inhibit the cyborg nano-implants so that they would not merge with her body..... but just for a while"

"Eh...?"

"But....hahaha... but..." Dr. Rolan smiled.

"I watched Belamis grew up too.... she such a fine girl, kind, and chivalrous -- a rare quality -- she was brave too.... " Dr. Rolan said.

"If I were to make a cyborg warrior.... and I have a Gariusu giant like her... I wanted her to be the finest of all..." Dr. Rolan looked, then he started the procedure to make Belamis a cyborg.

Belamis emerged, naked -- her body became stronger. Then the scientists fitted her with the suit for fighting.

"That's your weapon." Dr Rolan handed her the electromagnetic sword.

Belamis drew the sword.

"You are great sword fighter...this suits you best..." Dr. Rolan said.

Belamis's operation was successful, and her cyborg capability reached 100% the anticipated power.

Yet before more of Belamis' race were recruited for the procedure, the planet met its fateful end. It exploded, with only Belamis managed to escape in her jet alive.

Then the rest was history.


The people at Queen Cosmos cockpit listened in shock. Kugo in tears.

"We never thought she had such a tragic past..." Djorgo said.

"Because she was the first Gariusu giant to receive the procedure and to test the control unit, all her information were preserved in the capsule....we also found this..." Dr. Kitty showed a bracelet, with a star shaped gem on it. "This fits to Belamis arm, it was found to be one that belongs to a giant warrior..."

"I have to go and find Belamis..." Kugo went out.

"Belamis...!!!" Kugo ran out.

There Belamis was standing high up on a rock, gazing the skies, in tears.

"Belamis..." Kugo approached, Belamis turned, and said nothing, but her eyes were in tears.

Belamis wept quietly, as she fell into Kugo's arms.

Kugo did not know what to say.

"I must find out about myself...." She looked at Kugo, "...with you at my side."

Kugo nodded.

For a whole night, Belamis looked at her own files, and she was in deep thought. Kugo watched, and saw her images as a baby, a child and a teenager. There were images with Belamis and her mother together.

"She was so beautiful even as a baby...and Belamis resembles her mother so much". Kugo smiled as she looked at the image, and touched Belamis gently. Belamis hold his hand and said nothing.

"No wonder my body merged with the cyborg implants.... Dr. Rolan decided to let them merge in day one..." Belamis thought.

Dr. Kitty was at the other end, and she said, "Belamis....this one, is meant for you only. We found this special code message. I did not read it. You read it."

"Should I go out ?" Kugo asked.

"No....." Belamis looked at him. Kugo gazed at her blue eyes, and he knew he was the only person she would share her life with.

Belamis pressed the button, it was a video, the title page was "For Belamis.... my daughter."

"A message from father?!"

A man in his fifties appeared on screen, dress in uniform. He's General Conan, Belamis' adopted father.

"When you read this, I hope you find a new home somewhere in another planet.... I want you to know, your mother and I loved you so much...."

"You gave us so much joy.... even though at your teens you rebelled against me.... I know it's because you were chasing your dreams......I want you to have your dreams...."

"You and mother were very close, I remained distant, using discipline and military ways.... maybe I wanted you to be a son...."

Belamis remembered the days her father was strict, and showed few emotions, but his eyes were warm and kind.

"When I saw you in the cyborg testing chamber, enduring all tests in pain... my heart ached..."

Belamis was the first from the Gariusu giant race who went through the procedure, and the scientists subjected her to strong blasts of electricity, electromagnetic energy, heat and extremes of temperature..and even injected poison into her body... to test how much extreme Belamis could withstand.

Belamis remembered all those horrendous tests. However she emerged to be the most powerful cyborg fighter, excelling in all capability.

"I wished I would be at your place... " General Conan said, "...every time you came out, almost collapsing, I did not hug you... please forgive me.... I cannot show any emotion to you because you are my daughter... all soldiers has to be treated equally before me..."

Belamis bowed her head.

"Her character is just like her father..." Kugo thought.

"I remembered when you first dressed in combat uniform after you became cyborg...I put the cape on you...." Belamis remembered that day, how he gently put the cape on her, though he said nothing, she felt her father's love.

"I wish I don't have to sent you to the front line to fight.... but... it's your choice.... you have grown up...and mother would have supported you too..."

"You fought bravely, and you are fine commander...you won't leave your comrades behind... many times you saved your fellow soldiers..... I am a proud father, as well as a happy General who has a good lieutenant."

"So... she really was in the army before..." Kugo thought.
"As I record this.... our planet is only hours before its destruction.... we have done our best, you have done your best....my daughter.... I wanted so much you be my real daughter... but you make me proud..... Goodbye..."

The recording stopped.

Belamis was in deep thought -- she remembered trying to fly her jet back to Gariusu, but from the transmitter, her father, also her commander yelled, "Don't come back, just fly away. I am ordering you to fly away."

"No!! I am going to disobey!" Belamis yelled. Then a great explosion occurred, thrusting her jet away, as she regained consciousness, she witnessed her planet exploded.

"Father!!! " Belamis cried.

Belamis told Kugo all this. Kugo patted her shoulder and hugged her.

"Do you want a minute by yourself ?" Kugo said.

Belamis looked at him and said, "Just stay here..."

There Belamis wept silently.... making soft sound of sorrow. Kugo hugged her tightly.

In the morning, Djorgo and Princess found Belamis all naked, sleeping in the arms of Kugo.

They looked, and left the room, leaving the two by themselves.

"Belamis.... she only has Kugo..." Princess Aurora said.

"That would be enough..." Djorgo said, as he closed the door, looking at Belamis.

The next day, Kugo assisted Belamis on her stretching. Kugo hold her leg, and helped her to stretch.

Belamis closed her eyes, and stretched her tendons.

Kugo watched, and thought, "She acted as though nothing happened... she did this because she didn't want us to worry about her......Belamis will want to fight... this is her way to deal with her sorrows..." He recalled her weeping the night before.

"Press harder..." Belamis said, as she did another set of stretching. Kugo pressed her back, so that her body touched the ground as she spread her leg apart, to pull her tendons on her thighs.

Then Kugo helped her to stretch her shoulder tendons and pectorals, pressing her arms, and pulling her arms.

"I need to stretch .... to maintain my flexibility..." Belamis said.

Kugo hold Belamis hand and body, and looked at her. "She could do this herself...but she had me help her....."

Belamis wanted to have Kugo at her side... in her heart she needed Kugo's company.

"We can start now..." Belamis said, and she hold hands with Kugo.

Kugo looked into her eyes, and nodded.

Belamis stood up, and said, "Let's try the stunt!"

She drew her sword as Kugo drew his Astro-Lance.

"Lenghen!!!" Kugo yelled. Belamis hopped and landed on the tip of Astro-Lance. This was her trick when she first fought with Kugo.

"Brilliant!!!" Djorgo yelled.

Belamis leaped up, and Kugo produced his quasi images again. Belamis moved in her near lightning speed, striking at each part of Kugo's image.

Djorgo watched, and nodded.

After the practice, Kugo said, "Hahaha, me and Belamis devised new moves!!!"

"I know..." Djorgo said, "Next time the enemy met you guys... that would be his unlucky day..."

Kugo and Belamis practiced their moves, and at night, Kugo would sleep with Belamis.

"Well, they stopped pretending..." Djorgo joked.

Princess Aurora said, "Belamis needed Kugo.....and she let us all know about it instead of pretending not to......"

Queen Cosmos launched again, and Belamis was at the cockpit with Princess Aurora.

"She acted as though nothing happened.." Aurora thought.

"I will be OK..." Belamis said, "...I know you are concerned about me..."

She looked at the Princess, "Thank you."

Then alarm sounded again.

"Time for battle..." Belamis took her helmet, and Djorgo entered the cockpit.

"I will oversee things here." Djorgo said.

"Star Probe, go!!" Kugo already was on his probe and went out.

"Jet fighter, go!" Belamis also flew her jet out and followed.

"Space Bike!" Belamis launched her space bike and hopped out of her jet, riding it alongside with Kugo.

"Cool!!!! Next time let me have a ride!" Kugo smiled.

Belamis smiled, and let her jet fall behind her.

The duo approached -- it was a large space monster... one like a giant serpent.

"That's easy!" Kugo exclaimed, and he charged forward. "Astro-Lance!!" He pulled the Astro-Lance out and blast at the snake, whilst Belamis on her bike tried to diverge the serpent's attention.

Kugo yelled and cut the head of the serpent. "Hahaha.... so easy..."

"It's too easy.." Belamis said.

Then at the end where the head was gone, three new heads grew...

"What the heck????" Kugo said.

Belamis charged forward and lifted her sword, and cut one of the three heads, whereas Kugo severed the other two.... then 9 heads grew ...

"It is just like the monster in Greek mythology..." Djorgo said, "...Don't cut the head!!!"

The nine heads spit out blasts of flames towards Kugo and Belamis. They narrowly escaped the blasts.

"This is messy..." Belamis said as she rode her space bike and looked back.

Then several blasts of flames headed to Belamis.

"Be careful!!" Kugo yelled.

Belamis invoked her near light speed move... and her bike moved along with her -- her space bike was built with such capability, and she dodged the attack.

"Djorgo.... try to find out how to destroy this monster!!" Belamis said, as she and Kugo flew around it.

"The tip of the tail...." Djorgo..."..it's the serpent's heart!!"

But the nine heads were spraying balls of flames everywhere. They could not get around them and aim at the tail.

"We have to try our new stunts..." Belamis said.

Kugo replied, "Let's go!!!"

Kugo yelled, "Hun Shen!!!" And he produced 9 duplicates of himself, heading to the different heads of the serpent, with Belamis following behind.

The serpent's nine heads fired simultaneously, aiming at the 9 duplicates, with Belamis moving in lightning speed, appearing from behind each of Kugo's duplicate and she used her sword to poke the eyes of the heads. Because Belamis was so quick, it appeared that she was at 9 places at the same time, appearing from the back of Kugo's clone.

With all the eyes blinded, the serpent waved its tail.

"Take the shot!!" Belamis yelled, as she flew clear from the serpent, escaping from the blasts of flames.

"Yeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ha...!" Kugo yelled, and shot a blast at the tail.

The serpent exploded.

"Bravo!!" Djorgo yelled.

Belamis docked her bike as she leaped back to her jet, and the pair flew back to Queen Cosmos.


"This pair of cyborg is a great threat...." An officer from the Golinkor empire said.

"If they build more confidence in fighting as a duo...."

"We have to eliminate them quickly..."
