Chapter 8 - A love from a cyborg boy
Belamis was allowed a few days off the camp. She and Kugo went to visit the orphanage.
As usual she was surrounded by the kids. She was happy.
The pair headed back to the labs to visit Dr. Kitty.
As they entered, there was a stir.....
"No...stop it..."
A boy, about the age of 11 or 12, was running.
"Stop it.... Kei....don't!!!"
The boy was running with something in his hand.... Assistant Professor Dodge was chasing..."Stop... he has the labs important sample...!!!"
Belamis used her cyborg powers and raced to the boy....but the boy was speedy... he could out run Belamis...
Belamis was surprised, she invoked her powers which allowed her to move from a space to another in almost light speed, and finally caught the boy.
"OK, so much for play time....." She hold the boy and took back the lab sample.
The boy looked at her....and Belamis looked back.
Belamis handed the sample back to Professor Dodge.
Professor Dodge, "Kei...... how many times do I have to..."
"You have no right to order me!!!" The boy yelled, and ran away.
Kugo and Belamis watched in astonishment.
"He's a cyborg..." Kugo said.
Belamis nodded.
Back at the labs, Dr. Kitty and Professor Dodge, before a big screen showing a boy's diagram.
"His name is Kei....."
"He's so young...." Belamis said, remembering her decision to become a cyborg...at least she graduated from college before she became a cyborg.
"Kei's father was a scientist... Kei was his son.... until that accident...9 years ago"
Kei home collapsed in an earthquake.... Kei was critically injured...
"Kei's father loved his son...and could not bear to loose him.. so he made him a cyborg... he was 12 years old then..."
"His father later died of a cancer... and he is an orphan... he was angry with his father.. with life..." Dr. Kitty continued...
Belamis listened....
"Kei is a very powerful cyborg..... with fighting capability rivaling you and Kugo..." Dr. Kitty said..."..but he is resentful of his body....he used those powers mischievously....he was sent here last week...."
Belamis nodded...."...Let me... talk to him..."
"So....legal guardians again ? ....." Kei remarked as he looked at Belamis and Kugo, in contempt.
"You would be the 11th and 12th legal guardian to quit!!! Hahaha!" Kei laughed.
"Not so easy..." Kugu said....
"Yeah yeah.. now they send cyborgs to make me behave..." Kei said, as he leaped up to table, and crashed it with his hands.
"We just want to be friends with you..." Kugo said...
"Bullshit!!!!!" Snapped Kei.
"OK.... you won't listen to us... eh ? " Belamis smiled...
"Nobody can make me listen... even if YOU are a cyborg..." Kei remarked, as he recalled how Belamis overpowered him.
"So you were pissed off then.... " Belamis said...
"IF I WAS a guy, you won't be able to stop me.!!!!!!!!" Yelled Kei...
"Hahahaha..." Belamis laughed...
"Why are you laughing..." Kei shouted...
"Because even if you were a guy..you cannot beat me!!!" Belamis remarked.
"Hey... what are you doing...?" Kugo asked....
"This boy needs a lesson..." Belamis said...
"I'm not a boy!!!!!" Kei yelled.
Belamis then remembered the first time she met Kugo... Kugo, not knowing she was a woman, teased her...
"Words alone are garbage..." Belamis said, "Show me you are a guy... even me, a woman cyborg can beat you!!!" Belamis laughed....
Kugo chuckled... "He he he..... Belamis is a tough girl dear boy!!!"
Kei, provoked, said, "Let's have a arm wrestle..."
"Well.... you are a boy.." Belamis said.... as she took of her jacket, revealing her muscular arm....
The two had an arm wrestle.
Kei immediately applied force, which Belamis resisted...her biceps contracted....
"You are strong!!" Kei laughed..."let's see how strong you are!" Kei increased strength... and Belamis increased her strength too.... the two was in a lock horn race for two minutes, Belamis was sweating, but she was holding strong.
"If...if I switched on my cyborg powers... you'd be thrown to the Pacific Ocean..." Kei yelled.
"You are using cyborg power, like I am... it's fair." Belamis remarked.
Eventually, Belamis endurance won over, and Kei gave up.
"Now.... you have to listen to me..." Belamis smiled.
Kei was angry...but he kept his word, and said, "OK, tell me what you want me to do..."
"Tomorrow.... meet me at the orphanage..." Belamis said.
Kei showed up on time. Kugo and Belamis nodded with approval.
"OK, come with me..." Belamis commanded.
Kei reluctantly followed the pair.
"These children are like you..." Kugo said.... as he was also an orphan.
"You said you are not a boy.... show me..." Belamis said.
Kei reluctantly joined the class....
He sat and Belamis stood behind him, keeping and eye of him. Surprisingly Kei did not pull any mischief in the class.
During play time, Kei neither bullied the kids, but joined in the games.
As days passed, Kei, being with children, changed. He helped the kids, like Belamis he helped the disabled ones....He had friends...
"It really worked...." Kugo said....
Belamis was about to nod when suddenly Kei yelled, "I will marry Belamis when I grow up!!"
Belamis blushed........and almost fainted...
Kugo was rolling on the floor laughing..
"What the hell are you saying!!!????" Belamis shouted...
"When I grow up and become a man...you will be my wife..." Kei said.
At night Kugo was still laughing..."Hahahahaha.... you have a lover...hahahahahaha........." He could not stop.
"Knock it off!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not funny!!!!!" Belamis shouted in frustration...
"Easy.... I will not get envy...!!!" Kugo laughed..."I know I am the only man in your heart..."
"Hahaha..don't be so sure...." Belamis laughed..they joked at each other...
"He's not joking... he became a cyborg 7 years ago... he would have been 21 by now... a guy...he is really having a crush on you...." Kugo said..
"You know I will not fall in love with that boy..." Belamis remarked...
"Hahaha... not you... how about him?? hahahaha" Kugo chuckled...
Belamis frowned....
In the weeks that followed, Kei bombarded with all the tricks a guy would use to court a girl..he kept sending flowers and candies to Belamis ... Belamis was so troubled....
"I never know that it will come to this..." Belamis remarked...in frustration....
She looked out the window, and there was Kei, with flowers, smiling...
"Good grief...." Belamis said.
Kugo just laughed...
Then one day Kei came to the labs..." I want to ask you out for a date....tomorrow night!!!"
"Kei...I can't ...and you know it!!!" Belamis replied.
"Tomorrow would be my 21st birthday..." Kei said..."Please?"
Belamis heart softened...."OK, you come and pick me up tomorrow evening."
Kugo looked at Belamis, as she searched her wardrobe..."Damn....only jeans and shirts...no decent clothes...."
Kugu, "Hey...you don't care about what you wear when I dated you then...."
Belamis, "It's his 21st birthday...I want to make it memorable to him... damn ...I have to shop for clothes... come with me..." "What the...???" Kugo was dragged by Belamis to the mall.
Kugo sat and wait for Belamis she was looking for clothes, trying them out in the fitting room..."...girls......arh... I thought Belamis is not into such girly thing!!!"
Belamis emerged from the fitting room, in a blouse, and a slack. Kugo thought his head was spinning..."..Wow... she's stunning!!!"
"Is it good ??" Belamis asked.
Kugo, "Yes...oh....next time we went you you have to dress like this!!!" Belamis smiled and nodded.
During the evening, Kei showed up, in shirt and tie, and trousers, leather shoes, holding a bouquet with him.
He saw Belamis and said, "Wow!!! You are stunning!!"
Belamis and Kei went out....not sure it was a date...Kugo followed though...
"Damn.... this kid is really agressive!!!" Kugo watched from afar and saw Kei doing all sorts of things a guy would try to win a woman's heart... candies, flowers, gifts, shows, candle light dinner.......
"Luckily Belamis already have me in her heart..." Kugo signed.
Belamis and Kei spent the night... one was in the mid-twenties....and Kei early teens...
"Kei...." Belamis said..
"What is it ?" Kei asked.
"You are a nice kid.....I'd love to have a kid brother like you..." Belamis said..
"No....I don't want to be your brother......I am a man...you are my girl friend, and I will marry you!!! " Kei said.
Belamis signed....
"It will be several years from now.... I already have Kugo.... you could have another girl...." Belamis said.
"No.... you are the one.... I fell in love with you the moment you touched me!!!" Kei said.
Belamis frowned..."Damn..."
The two walked. Kei walked Belamis to the armed force base, and said, "A goodbye kiss ?"
Belamis smiled, "Here..." As she hold her right hand out. Kei kissed the back of her hand.
"No matter what... even you loved Kugo.... I will prove to you that I am the better guy!!!" Kei said. "Goodnight", as he left.
Belamis was speechless, watching Kei leave.
Then Kugo showed up.
"You are not jealous, are you ?" Belamis said.
"No....I'm not..I have faith in you.... I have no idea that you can be so attractive...I must watch over you harder.." Kugo replied.
"Hahahaha" Belamis laughed...the two went back to their quarters.
"Damn!!!!!!! Monster attacking the lab!!!" Assistant Professor Dodge yelled.
Kugo and Belamis suited up, hopped in their space craft and headed to the lab.
Belamis landed first to see of all personnel were safe.
"Let me fight!!!" Kei yelled..."..I want to protect my girl Belamis..." Belamis blushed as she entered and heard what he said.
"Enough with this nonsense!!! It is not a game...it is too dangerous for you" Belamis said.
Kei left... disappointed..
Belamis said, "Even he is a powerful cyborg, I would not let him fight... He deserved to have a life...he didn't choose to be a cyborg like me or Kugo... I don't want anything happen to him..." Belamis cared for Kei like he was her kid brother, and she would not want him to fight the monsters.
Dr. Kitty, "We would take him with us and go to the shelter."
Kei overhead what Belamis said, and was touched, "She really cared about me..."
Then there were explosions...
"Get to the underground shelter!!!" Belamis shouted as she headed out, joining Kugo in the battle.
The monster was a 60m tall brute.... in armors, and with horns.. Belamis and Kugo shot the monster with guns and energy beams from their crafts...to no avail.
"Damn....that thing was so powerful..." Belamis said as she and Kugo flew away in their crafts...
"We have to use our powers!!" Kugo said.
Belamis nodded.
The pair leaped from their crafts, pulling out their weapons.... suddenly the brute shot out strong energy beams...
"Look out!!!" Belamis yelled..the two narrowly dodged the powerful beam...they used their weapons and targeted the beast...
Their energy blasts hit it.. but the beast was unharmed...
"That was a very very powerful monster..." Kugo said as he landed in his Star Probe and charged...
"Kugo...no!!!" Belamis shouted.
Kugo tried his energy blasts.... the beasts horn was so powerful that those blasts were useless, then the beasts strike...hitting Kugo and his craft, send him falling to the ground...
"Kugo..!!!" Belamis yelled.... Kugo was knock unconscious....
Belamis fired from her craft, but the beast was not harmed.
Belamis leaped out and stood on the monster's head. Belamis tried to use her sword to pierce to the monster's head, but the armor was thick...her sword was useless...
"Damn....I have already used maximum power on the sword...."
Then the monster hit Belamis, sending her crashing to the ground...the beast tried to step on Kugo...
"No!!!" Belamis rushed forward, hitting the monster with her sword to divert it away...
Kugo was struggling to get up and he seemed to be hurt, and he fainted again.
The monster left Kugo and headed for Belamis.... and hit her.... then put its foot on her....
"Arh..........." Belamis exclaimed in pain...the monster would crush her....
The monster with one foot on her, turned to Kugo, and was about to fire energy blasts at Kugo...
"No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Belamis yelled....then without she realizing it...her forehead glowed....then her fighting suit was off....leaving her in plain clothes ...her brain wave lost contact with her controller bracelet and so her suit was off....
Belamis eyes glowed and from her eyes, finger and feet shot out white beams...her concerns for Kugo elavated to a state of mind that she again was ready to sacrifice herself subconsciously.....and this released the control and allowing her to change to her giantess form...
Kei was watching the battle...and saw the whole thing... Belamis changed into her giantess form...
Belamis immediately picked up Kugo and place him out of danger... but the monster used its hands with claws and slashed Belamis body...blood was flowing out her wounds...Belamis endured the onslaught, and fought back, kicking the monster with both legs... the monster moved back a few steps....
Belamis began to fight... but the monster was extremely strong... Belamis exerting all her muscles... Kei could hear her muscle contract.....Belamis used her arms and pushed back...."Ahr...." The two began to wrestle, and Belamis was strong, just barely pushed back the monster...
But the brute was much stronger, and it used only one of its paws and pinned Belamis down, and the other, jabbing Belamis on her side with its claws... then the monster kicked Belamis, then pinned her down, and blows hitting her......Belamis endured the pain, and grabbed the monster's other hand....the monster pushed its left paw closer and closer to Belamis right chest, and sank the claws into her pectorals, and attempt to rip her muscles apart...
"Belamis!!!" Kei yelled....
Belamis saw Kei was out looking... she shook her head.... trying to tell Kei to run.. she was not able to talk..."Arh.." Belamis felt her right pectorals torn apart..
"You are my girl friend!!!" Suddenly Kei transformed...to a robotic like form, and flew in great speed, colliding with the beast...the force was so great that the beast fell over..releasing Belamis from its grips...
"Kei..." Belamis said in her giantess form...with difficulty...she shook her head...and put her hands in front of Kei, trying to stop him, despite she was bleeding and seriously wounded... "..go.." Belamis talked with difficulty..
"Belamis.... let me!!!" Kei shouted...
He glowed and flew towards the monster....
Belamis cried.."No....."
The monster used its horns to shield itself.... but Kei racing towards it like a rocket shooting through the monster's head...and into its body, and came out the other end...
"No..." Belamis cried in a low voice... Kei fell to the ground .. all injured... Belamis picked him up... tears streaming from her eyes.
"Belamis... I am your boyfriend... a boyfriend is supposed to protect his......" Kei smiled...
The monster...wanted to deal a last blow, aimed at Belamis...
"Watch out!!" Kei yelled..... he flew with his last bit of energy...and as the monster fired its energy blasts, but Kei used his body and his energy shield to protect Belamis.
"Arh.........!" Belamis yelled in deep grief as she witnessed Kei saving her...Kei took a direct hit from the blast and was mortally wounded... he fell to the ground.
Belamis gave a loud roar, she leaped to the monster, used her hand chop and cut it into two.... finishing it off.... the monster exploded.
Belamis used her large hands and hold Kei in her palms...and in a split second, Belamis returned to human size....she was carrying Kei in her arms.... her eyes streaming in tears...
Kei looked at Belamis in her naked body, and said, "You are so beautiful... "He touched Belamis breasts...but just slightly...
"...you...you are my goddess........" Kei looked at Belamis eyes..."your eyes... are like the blue heavens.....you face.....so gentle..you hands...strong and soft...you body....full of strength..and you are full of tenderness" he reached for Belamis face...and touched Belamis hands.
"I...I wished I could kiss you now......but to you...I am still a boy..." Kei was about to breathe his last breath....."I told you I will protect you as a man.....I am your knight in shiny armor...." Kei remarked.
Belamis cried, and nodded.
"I...I wish I was a man..all grown up...so that I can court you like other guys.......and ask you to marry me...." Kei, in his last breath, said, smiling..."and protect you ... as your husband...forever..."
Belamis nodded...."You are a real brave guy.... I know a lot of girls will fall for you..."
"I have only one love...my heart belongs to you.....nobody else..." Kei said...as he was dying...
Belamis looked at him, then she kissed his lips......
"....I just hope one day...I could hold your hands..we walk down the aisle..." He then bowed his head and died...and in his mind he became a tall handsome grown up man...holding Belamis, who was dressed in bride's dress, he in bridegrooms tuxedo, and they walked down the aisle to the altar in a wedding ceremony...and kissed each other......He smiled with a contentment on his face...
Belamis cried....holding Kei in her arms.
Kugo and Belamis looked at the tomb for Kei.
"He truly loved you. with a pure heart......I think if he is a real guy...he would be my rival...." Kugo said.
Belamis nodded, "He is brave...and before he died he lived the most precious part of his live...to become and adult just for a few minutes...and to fell in love..."
"...it's a memorable first love for any man...." Kugo said.
Belamis laid on the tomb while lilies and red roses....
"I will never forget you. Kei, rest in peace." She said.
Belamis took her guitar out..and started playing, humming a tune for Kei...and Kugo eyes streaming with tears...
The pair watched the tomb as the sun set, as Belamis sang her song to her brother, though their relationship was just for several weeks....
