Chapter 64 Belamis back at Gariusu - memories

Belamis with Idina in her arms, standing with Medora and Nick on the deck.

Before them was the place where Gariusu triplets were.

Belamis could recall those fateful days. First it was Gariusu that began to break up and explode.

The explosion sent a shock wave and then Yolen, already unstable began to break up and explode. Sonya was in the prison of Gariusu and nearly killed.

Sonya's sister Sherius had just a bit more time at Yolen when their people saw Gariusu blew up, and a handful of their citizens escaped.

The last that was destroyed was Talusen, Nick's home. The planet got the most people out to safety, and its Nick being their leader and took them to a new home.

"There..." Nick pointed his finger to a cluster of rocks in space.

Belamis looked towards that direction.

Medora hold Nick hand, and watched.

"That large reddish cluster of rocks is what is left of Gariusu..." Belamis said in a calm voice.

"Those dark grey rocks and the large quadrant of rock there was Yolen... and that was Talusen, half of it is still there..." Belamis continued, pointing to a planet which had half of its globe gone.

"Let's head over to Talusen first..." Nick said.

They landed Starry Princess on that "half-globe".

The company walked on that broken planet.

Galaxy Energy was restored, and there were vegetations - trees, grassland and even flowers.

"That's my home planet..." Nick said. He held Medora's hand and walked around, with Belamis holding Idina and followed.

Nick knelt down as he saw something. "It's a tablet belonging to one of a building here... this used to be the military base....I am surprised that I can even find something!" He remarked.

Nick picked up the tablet, and wiped the dirt off, and on it were words engraved on it.

Medora asked, "What does it said ?"

Nick, "It....its the training camp site...where me an Belamis trained... it's the main hall..."

Belamis looked at the tablet and signed.

The three looked around then Belamis said, "Let's head to Yolen..."

The party landed at Yolen. Belamis left the craft and walked on the rock.

Yolen had only a huge part left, roughly resembling a slice of a peeled orange...

Belamis remembered the sisters Sherius and Sonya.

Medora remarked, "You are very kind to both of them...even to Sonya..."

Belamis took out the bits of hair belonging to Sonya, and found place where she dug a hole and burried it.

"Sherius... I have brought Sonya home.... you both rest in peace...." Belamis said softly.

Then Belamis gazed at the cluster of reddish rocks afar.

Medora and Nick gazed at Belamis and wondered how she felt.

They boarded Starry Princess, and headed to the cluster of reddish rocks  - what's left of Gariusu.

Nick and Medora looked at Belamis as she had not said a word.

Then Belamis said, "Just stop here... I will go there by myself..."

"Belamis..." Medora uttered.

Nick put his hand on Medora's shoulder, and said to Belamis, "We will follow behind, OK?"

Belamis nodded.

Nick and Medora watched Belamis went to the reddish rocks in her jet.

"Belamis need a moment by herself..." Nick said.

"Gariusu was the worst hit planet, and it was totally destroyed.... none of the inhabitants, except Belamis escaped.... I can imagine how she felt.." Nick said.

Medora gazed at Belamis and held back her tears.

Belamis flew her jet and stopped amidsts the cluster of rocks.

Belamis emerged from the cockpit and stood up, looking at the reddish rocks around her.

Then her mind went way way back to 5 years ago, where she was just turning 17.

The family helpers at Belamis' home found her collapsed at the door step, holding Medona in her arms.

The other night, Belamis and Medona went out to the countryside, but did not leave in time because their craft broke down, they had to walk. As it got dark the monsters appeared and chased them.

Medona was killed.

Belamis carried Medona's body in her arms and walked a whole night back home.

Belamis woke up, and her mother was watching her.

Belamis began to shed tears. Her mother Rose gently touched her face, "Child...."

Belamis hugged her mother and wept.

Belamis rest for a few days.

This day, her mother knocked at her bedroom door.

"Belamis dear... I am coming in..." She heard the sound of the showers, and presumed that Belamis was in the shower.

"I bring you clean clothes..." Rose entered the room, and knocked at the bathroom door.

"Can I come in ?"

Belamis just replied, "Eh...."

Rose entered, and was shocked by the scene. There were a big patch of black hair on the floor, and there were blood!

"Belamis!!" Rose exclaimed.

Belamis stood there, facing Rose backwards and looking at the mirror.

Belamis had cut her long black hair which had been down to her waste just to shoulder length with her sword, and as she cut her hair Belamis accidently cut her hand, so there was blood.

Belamis put down the sword and turned, and said, "Mother..... I want to join the millitary...to protect this planet... to protect my people...to protect ...protect..the ones I loved..." Her voice shook, and eyes welling up tears.

Rose walked slowly to Belamis who was standing naked. Belamis was tall and slender, but had a firm body with well toned muscles.

Rose put both her hands on Belamis face, "....my child.... my child..."

"Mother..." Belamis bowed her head.

Rose gently stroke Belamis' hair - which she used to wear it long and down to her waste, now abruptly cut short. Belamis was proud of her long and beautiful black hair.

Rose thought to herself, "I...have hoped that my daughter won't have to fight like the giantess before her...." She gently hugged Belamis.

"I will not let anything happen to you.... I will protect you with my life ....even if I have to endure the most horrid pains..." Belamis said to her mother.

Rose looked at Belamis, already having the outlook of a warrior, and Rose' heart ached - Belamis' dreams were to become an astronaut, to fly spaceships and explore around in the cosmos, to go to places. Now Belamis' life's dream was dashed.

Moreover, Belamis would put herself to danger... and pains as Rose knew (and Belamis' adopted father knew) that Belamis was a Gariusus giantess.

Belamis' decision to join the military caused her to quarrel with her father Conan.

Conan slapped Belamis' face.

"No!!! You cannot be a soldier!!" Conan yelled at Belamis.

Belamis face was hot after she took the slap - her father never yelled at her, nor hit her!

Belamis stormed out of the house.

"Belamis!!!" Rose yelled.

"Let her go out and cool her head!!" Conan thundered.

"Conan.... you don't have to shout at her!"

Conan signed....

"I... I just loved her too much.... she cannot join the military.... you told me... when she turned 17.... her ability to change to the giantess will ... will appear.... you know what will happen!" Conan said.

Rose nodded.

When Gariusus giantess were babies or young child, they could not transform yet, until they turmed 17 or 18.

However initially they had no control of the transformation... they could just turn to a giantess.

"I know... I will watch over her..." Rose said.

"General..." The house helper yelled, "Belamis took a craft and went away!!"

"What ???" Conan yelled.

Conan ran out, Rose followed and said, "I come with you... she will listen to me..."

Conan nodded.

Conan and Rose rode a craft and pursuit as Belamis rode her craft.

Belamis headed to the countryside, and stopped the craft.

Then she threw herself to the ground and wept in frustration, banging her hands on the ground fiercely.

Then Belamis got up, and wiped her tears. She signed. This was where she and Medona ran into monsters.

"I must head home..."

Then suddenly a shadow covered her ..... a large flying monster was above Belamis!

Belamis immediately jumped to her craft, and started the engine.

The flying monster shot out blasts at Belamis' craft, and Belamis steered her jet and dodged.

"My goodness....it's chasing me..." Belamis thought.

Then Belamis was shocked to see her parents were coming to her!

Conan saw the monster, and drew his gun.

"Belamis, come over to me!" Conan shouted.

Belamis steered her craft, but the monster spit a energy blast and hit her craft. Her craft crashed and Belamis was thrown to the ground.

"Belamis!!" Rose exclaimed.

Belamis rolled on the ground and broke the fall, and she got up quickly, then ran to the opposite direction - she was trying to lure the monster away from her parents!

"Belamis! Don't do it!" Conan yelled. He shot the  monster with his gun.

Belamis turned and picked up a rock and threw at the monster. The monster shot a blast and it explosed beside Belamis, and Belamis fell to the round, and knocked her head to a rock, and felt dizzy.

Then the monster spit a energy blast and hit her parent's craft. The craft crashed.

Conan and Rose fell to the round, and the monster charged to them.

Conan thought to himself, "My gosh..... we are doomed..."

Rose and Conan hugged.

Then they heard a loud roar.

Rose and Conan looked and was stunned by what they saw - a giantess fighting the flying monster - Belamis transformed to the giantess.

"Oh no...." Rose thought.

Belamis roared and pulled the monster's wing, and threw it to the ground, and hit it with her fists.She fought fiercely, and rolled on the ground with the monster.

The monster spit a energy blast and hit Belamis chest, and Belamis roared in pain. The claws of the monster sank into Belamis chest, and Belamis bleed.

Then Belamis pulled the claws out, and tore the wing off the monster, and finally broke its neck, killing it.

Then Belamis roared loudly, as though she was berserk, with hands on her head.

"Belamis!! " Rose shouted.

Belamis turned and looked at her mother, and growled....

"Calm down... Belamis..."

Belamis slowly knelt down, and let out a soft growl.

Conan came to the side of Rose, "Belamis ?"

"Belamis is still a young giantess... she cannot talk nor able to recognize us..but...she won't harm us because her instinct told her that we are her close ones..." Rose said.

"Come.. child... it'ts alright now..." Rose spoke gently to Belamis.

Belamis breathed heavily, and her growl turned to a soft purring sound.

"There...there.... calm down... child!" Rose smiled.

Then in a flash, Belamis changed back to human form and fainted.

Conan and Rose took Belamis home.

"She won't remember a thing about about her transformation....to her it was a period she blacked out..." Rose said gently, as she took care of Belamis, lying unconsciously on her bed.

"But... will she change again..." Conan said.

"Let me handle it..." Rose said, she placed both her hands on Belamis' breasts, and then Rose body glowed.

"What are you doing...???" Conan said.

"I am giving my own energy .... energy to become a giantess to her......this can also suppress her from changing to a giantess until she turned 21 or older..by then she should be able to handle it..." Rose continued.

"All Gariusu giantess mothers will have to eventually gave her energy to their daughters.... Belamis is special, I knew it when I conceived her...she would be the Gariusu giantess warrior to protect people... but she's still young..."

"But...." Conan replied.

"Yeah... I will be weakened... and never be able to transform again....but at least she would not blow her cover when she joined the military...and she will be an even stronger Gariusu giantess warrior" Rose said.

Conan was silent - Belamis' mother supported Belamis' decision to join the military. He signed, and said, "Belamis is stubborn... I won't be able to stop her anyway..."

This was the day Belamis had to leave for millitary training.

"I have packed the things you needed.." Rose gently took the bagpack to Belamis, then she tended Belamis' hair.

"Thank you... mother..." Belamis spoke softly. She had no recollection of her transformation to a giantess.

Rose touched Belamis face, and her heart had a deep feeling of sadness. Rose never wanted Belamis to fight, but it was Belamis' destiny, and now she had to let Belamis go.

"Mother.... I will write home often..." Belamis said. Rose gently kissed Belamis' forehead, and put her hands on Belamis body, and rubbed.

Belamis eyes welled up tears, but she hold back her tears. Belamis loved her mother deeply, and now she had to go to the millitary school leaving her mother behind.

Belamis boarded her craft, and looked back, "Bye...mother..."

Rose nodded, and said, "Go..... be a good soldier!"

Belamis nodded and steered her craft, and not looking back - she was crying, and couldn't let her mother see her cry.
