Chapter 65 Belamis at Gariusu - Belamis' painful memories...

Belamis joined the millitary and went to the base to be trained as a soldier.

Belamis' mother, Rose waited anxiously at home, worrying about Belamis.

Belamis was strong and brave, but it was her first time away from home and separated from her mother.

Like Belamis, Rose was a Gariusu giantess, but unlike Belamis she was not the warrior, and Belamis' biological father was killed when protecting Rose, when she was already pregnant with Belamis.

Rose felt strange as she was pregnant with Belamis, and she was forced to give birth in the wild.

"Arrh..." Rose groaned as she endured the pain of giving birth, and then there was the sound of a baby crying.

Rose signed, and she hold the little girl in her hand. She haven't named the baby girl yet.

Rose stayed with her people, the giant race, and the women helped her when she was giving birth.

"Oh....she's adorable!!" The women around Rose exclaimed.

The little baby girl sucked her little fingers, fast asleep, Rose hold her tightly.

"What's her name ?" One asked.

"...... I haven't decided yet..." Rose replied.

"The girl looks very healthy.... she cried loudly when she got out...." One said.

The girl opened her eyes, and it was a pair of beautiful sapphire eyes.

"Aw..." The others exclaimed.

Rose gently held the girl and breast fed her.

Then Rose went out with the girl, and wandered around, and she hold the baby tenderly.

Then a suddenly some balls of light surrounded her.

Rose was terrified and she ran...

"Don't run..... we are the guardians of Gariusu giantess warrior..."

Rose turned and uttered, "Gariusu giantess warrior...?"

"We mean... your daughter..."

Rose looked at her little baby girl, and stuttered, "She.... a warrior ?"

"We sensed her energy.... she is the one..." The guardians replied.

Rose knew the stories of Gariusu giantess warrior told by her ancestors, and asked, "What do you want ?"

"We mean no harm, but to see her if she is well..." The guardians said.

"Does she have a name ?" The guardians asked.

"If she is going to be a warrior, then...I will name her Belamis..." Rose replied.

"Belamis.... a name of a goddess.... its the goddess who protected people with her kindness and courage..." The guardians said.

Rose looked at Belamis, and said, "I wanted her to be a kind and brave warrior..."

"She will be...." The guardians said, "...but she will endure a lot of pain as the Gariusu giantess warrior..."

Rose looked at little Belamis in her arms, and her heart ached.

However Rose knew about Gariusu giantess warrior, and she knew she could not stop it, and she said, "What can I do to ...to give her a happy life ?"

"Love her..." Then the guardians disappeared.

Rose recalled the events and signed.

Meanwhile Belamis was in military. She bathed and noticed her body was getting stronger. Belamis did not know that it was her mother Rose who gave her the energy that boosted her body.

Belamis trained hard, and did even more than the rest. There she met Nick.

Finally at the graduation of the military, Belamis got the highest honor - the saber.


Nick cheered, "Good girl!!!"

Only Rose, Belamis' mother was there for the ceremony.

"Now may we present the saber, for the top in the cadet - Belamis!"

Belamis stood up and walked to the general presenting the prize.

"Belamis, now will be the lieutenant, will be awarded the saber, for her outstanding performance during her training here!" The man said.

All of the cadets applauded. Nick clapped and yelled, "Good for you!!"

Sonya was among the attending officers and she was jealous.


After the ceremony, Belamis went to meet her parents, and she hugged Rose.

Belamis looked for her father.

"Where's dad ?" Belamis asked, visibly frustrated.

"Belamis... your father is summoned by the chief commander.... he wanted to come..." Rose said.

Belamis was silent.

Rose knew that Conan had vehemently opposed Belamis joining the army. Yet after Rose' plead, Conan's heart softened, but Belamis' heart was hurt when her father was not there.

"Belamis... your dad give you this..." Rose took out a bracelet that could fit to Belamis' arm.

It's one that had a star shaped pattern and a jewel on it.

Belamis hold it in her hands.

"Belamis.. don't be angry with your father.... he loves you..." Rose said as she gently touched Belamis' face, and stroked her hair. Belamis had kept her hair just to shoulder length.

Belamis gently hugged her mother, and said, "I loved you.. and father..... I wish he is here to see me..." Then tears rolled out of Belamis' sapphire eyes. Rose looked into Belamis' eyes.

Belamis' had the same eyes and lips like Rose, and Belamis grown to be a beauty. Yet  she could no longer lead a life as an ordinary girl, but to be a soldier.

Rose hugged Belamis. Then Nick ran to Belamis and Rose.

"Congratulations!!" Nick said, and he noticed Rose, "I am Nick.... you must be Belamis' mother...I am honored to meet you..." And he bowed his head to Rose.

"Thanks for taking care of my daughter..." Rose replied.

"No sweat... Belamis is a tough girl and she's doing real fine....." Nick smiled. At the time Nick had a crush on Belamis.

Belamis replied, "Where's the other guys ?" Belamis was referring her platoon and Nick's platoon.

"Ha... we already reserved places in a bar... er...er..." Nick stuttered, as he looked at Rose, for it sounded a bit inappropriate.

"Go... have fun !..." Rose smiled, and she patted Belamis' shoulder.

Belamis smiled, and went with Nick.

Rose watched.

The Galaxy Energy weakened quickly, and monsters were everywhere.

Belamis' family moved to an underground quarters to be away from the flying monsters. Belamis was a fighter jet pilot, fighting the monsters.

This day she was flying in her fighter jet alongside with Nick and other soldiers.

Belamis saw the sensor and it detected the monsters, she said, "There are monsters ahead!"

"Let's get them!" Nick yelled.

They fought the monsters in their jets, and Belamis was one of the best fighter pilot, and she managed to shoot down three of them. Their team drove away the herd.

They returned to base, and everyone cheered. Belamis took her uniform off and changed to civilian clothes quickly.

"Hey! You are not going with us to celebrate our victory ??" Nick yelled.

"I ... I have to go home and see mother.." Belamis said.

Nick then nodded, and said, "It's OK... we can have beer some other time..."

Belamis smiled and said, "Thanks.."

Belamis then rode her craft and hurried home.

Then Belamis saw a many shadows.... Flying monsters!

"No!!!" Belamis thought. They were heading to the area her mother lived.

Belamis stepped on the gas and accelerated her craft. She arrived at the quarters her mother lived.

Belamis rushed in, and her mother was not there.

Belamis' home helper said, "Madam Rose left this morning..."

Belamis stormed out to the town....

Then there were people in panic.... the monsters were attacking everywhere, and the people ran frantically.

"Mother!!" Belamis yelled as she rode her craft, frantically trying to find her. Belamis did not want what happened to Medona happened to her mother.

Then Belamis saw her mother. Rose was taking shelter. Belamis stopped and ran to her.

"Mother...it's dangerous!" Belamis held Rose' hand.

Then Belamis pulled her mother along.

"Belamis..." Rose uttered..

"Mother.. we must run!" Belamis said. Then suddenly the flying monster came and attacked them.

Belamis pushed her mother onto the craft and started the engine, and she steered the craft.

The monster chased them, and Belamis tried hard to dodge the energy beams spitted out by the flying monster.

"No!!!" The monster's beam hit a building and boulders fall, and Belamis' craft crashed to it.

Belamis and Rose was thrown to the ground. Belamis groaned, and then she saw the scene tore her heart apart.

Rose, her mother, ran by herself to divert the monster, trying to protect Belamis.

"Mother!! Mother!" Belamis screamed, but she was under a boulder and could not move...

Rose looked back at Belamis and into her sapphire eyes. Then Rose said gently, "Daughter.... you must live.."

Then Rose ran, and the energy beam from the monster hit her....

Belamis watched her mother vapourized.

"Noooooooooooooooooooo...................!!!" Belamis screamed and blacked out.

At this point where Belamis remembered her mother's death, as she stood on her jet and she wailed loudly.

Nick and Medora heard the wailing.

"What the ???" Nick remarked.

Then Belamis leaped out of her jet and in a flash she transformed to the giantess, and she landed on a large red rock of what's left of Gariusu.

Belamis knelt on the rock, and wailed loudly, and tears streamed out of her eyes.

"Belamis...." Medora remarked, as she felt heartache as she listened to Belamis' wailing.

Belamis growled, and looked at her body. "Why... why didn't I ... why... why couldn't I transform then..."

Belamis roared, and hit the rock with her bare fists repeatedly, until her hands were full of blood.

Medora wanted to go to Belamis and comfort her. Nick stopped her, and said, "Belamis needed this ...to vent out her grief..." Nick's eyes was filled with tears.

Belamis wailed in her giantess form, and howled.

"Mother...."

Belamis then recalled further. She blacked out after seeing her mother vaporized, and when she regained consciousness, she struggled and crawled out of the debris. Then Belamis ran frantically to find her mother. She was in denial, and she hoped she could find her mother.

"Mother!!!" Belamis shouted, and ran about. The town area was badly damaged, and many died. Belamis walked pass a lot of dead bodies... She hope none of them was her mother.. yet she hope she could find her mother... It was traumatizing to her.

Then something in a pile of debris caught Belamis' eyes. Belamis rushed forward, and saw a hand...with a ring on it...

The ring belonged to Belamis' mother..and the hand was all its left. Belamis picked up the hand and looked, and stayed there.

Then the hand just broke up to fine dust and the wind blew the dust away, leaving only the ring in Belamis' hand.

Belamis wailed loudly before she fainted.

When Belamis regained consciousness, she was at a hospital. She sustained some wounds.

Belamis stared at the ceiling and then looked around. Her mother was gone forever.

Tears rolled out of her eyes.

As soon as Belamis recovered she ran to her father Conan's office, demanding to become a cyborg.

"No!!!" Conan yelled.

But eventually Conan let Belamis went ahead. The Gariusu's cyborg program was not successful with the other race, and Conan only had Belamis from the giant race.

Conan looked at the photo of Rose, with him and Belamis.

"Rose...." Conan said, "... though Belamis was not my biological child...she is as dear to me as my own... like you being so dear to me. Belamis has your eyes...."

The scientists wheeled Belamis into the operation room to make her cyborg.

Belamis woke up after the procedure to make her cyborg.

She tried lifting her hands and her hands could move as normal. Belamis get off her bed and went to the bathroom.

Belamis took all her clothes off to look at her body - strong, muscles sculpted, and she saw little dents on her body - the nanounits that was planted on her to boost her strength.

Belamis flexed her muscles and they were strong.

Then over the next 8 weeks Belamis was subjected to all kinds of tests to check if she achieved the projected performance of a cyborg.

Belamis lifted weights, performing all kinds of exercise to test her muscles' strength, and then being blasted with electricity, subjected to heat and even poisons injected to her.

The process was extremely painful and Belamis endured, without even letting out a sound.

That was how Belamis became a cyborg .. and the rest was history.

Belamis knelt in her giantess form at a rock which was one of those debris after Gariusu blown up.

Belamis breathed heavily, and her pecs moved as her chest move as she breathed. Belamis then stood up, and looked around the red rocks, and wept softly.

Nick and Medora got near and Belamis looked at them. She nodded, and then transformed back to her human form.

Belamis got back into her suit, and Medora approached her.

Belamis looked into Medora's eyes, and said, "I will be alright.." Medora gently hugged Belamis, she could feel how much Belamis was hurting inside her heart, more than those traumas on her body.

Nick gently spoke, "You want to hang around a bit more or you want to leave ..."

Belamis replied, "I have visited home.. I think I will return to Earth..."

Nick smiled, "Medora, then we have to go..."

Medora held Belamis hand and they went back to Starry Princess and head to Earth.

Belamis looked out the window of Starry Princess, and thought, "Mother... Dr. Kitty..."
