Chapter 43 - The  rock hell and the rock demon

Belamis and Medora was on their way to restore the Galaxy Energy at the patch of cosmos where it was devoid, and the progress was good.

Dr. Kitty was on the transmitter, "From our side, things looks promising..."

Medora replied, "I am glad to hear that...soon Belamis can return to Earth and join Kugo..."

Kugo was recovering well, he was on clutches. His arms were strong enough.

"I can't wait to hold Belamis...where's she ?" Kugo asked.

"She...she is pulling Starry Princess in her giantess form..." Medora replied. She recalled all the pain and wounds she sustained during these times.

"Belamis is very brave..." Kugo replied, "I know she would not run away from battle and willing to endure any pain..." He said, with a mood of sadness.

"Belamis is a loving warrior... she gave so much of herself, not just to me.. but to the people suffering here..." Medora replied.

Belamis pulled Starry Princess, and in telepathy she said to Medora, "Time to take a stop ..."

She landed Starry Princess, and turned back to human form. The chains on her detached from the craft.

Medora came out, with a piece of cloth, and she gently placed it round Belamis waist to cover her.

"Thank you..." Belamis replied.

"Belamis.... I want to see you in your fighting suit.... you looked more handsome in that..." Medora said.

Belamis smiled.

The planet was a rocky place, and on the surface, desolate.

"I wonder if there are people here..." Belamis remarked.

Then some people emerged. Among them a man called aloud, "Is that you, Captain Belamis?"

"Captain Belamis ?" Belamis uttered.

A man came forward, and saluted Belamis.

"I was from Guima Legion.... a soldier. I was drafted by them, you released us after the death of the King and the Prince...and I was able to return to my home here...my name is Grando..." The man said.

Belamis nodded, and said, "I am glad you can start your live here..."

"Thanks, Captain..." Grando replied.

"Don't call me Captain... you are now a civilian, I am not your commander anymore.." Smiled Belamis.

"No... in my mind.. and also many of us who were solders in Guima Legion, you are always our Captain - clever, brave...and caring for us..." Grando said.

"You must be our guest!! You must come to our home and stay with us!!!" Grando said.

"Medora, let's go.." Replied Belamis.

Medora nodded. The two joined the villagers.

The company lead Medora and Belamis down to a cave.

"Why are you all living here ?" Asked Medora.

Grando said, "This is now the only place safe for us.... On the ground there are monsters..."

"Monster ?" Belamis exclaimed.

"Yes...." Grando continued. "It is depressing. We worked hard to build this place, make it our home after Galaxy Energy was restored, but then everything just went back to square one...."

Another man said, "The monster destroyed our newly built village and crops... many of our men were killed..."

Belamis listened, and her heart filled with sadness.

"Captain...I am glad you are here... I know you are the Major Admiral of Galaxy Union..." Grando said.

"I will help you...." Belamis replied.

Then suddenly there was a violent quake.

"No!!! A quake..." The people screamed. Then dust and sand fell...

"The cave is collapsing!!!" Grando yelled.

"Belamis!!!" Medora cried.

"The scepter!" Belamis said. Medora nodded and took the scepter out. The beam from the scepter shot Belamis' forehead, and she transformed to the giantess.

As the top of the cave fell, Belamis supported with her body.

Belamis roared, as she pushed up.

"It was very heavy!!!" Belamis thought. She exerted herself, and hold on until the quake was over.

Then Belamis turned back to human form.

"Belamis, are you OK ?" Medora asked.

"I am fine.... but...these caves are not safe..." Belamis said.

Grando asked, "Why ?"

Belamis was silent. She and Medora contacted Dr. Kitty.

"The people are living not in caves, but under the surface earth crust of the planet.... it could cave in anytime..." Dr. Kitty said.

"Then we have to defeat the monster on the ground..." Belamis remarked.

Medora and Belamis went back to the people, and the people came to them, "What can we do...?"

"You cannot stay here, this cave is not safe..." Belamis said.

"But...but the monster on the ground is very powerful..." Grando said.

"I will deal with it..." Belamis replied.

Then suddenly another quake, a section of the cave's top fell and many were injured and killed.

"NO!!!!" Medora screamed.

Belamis looked on and was very sad.

"You have to leave the cave... I... I cannot support the the ceiling every time.." Belamis said.

"But we cannot.... the surface is not safe either..." Grando said.

Then another quake....

"Medora!" Belamis yelled.

Medora immediately raised the scepter... and Belamis turned into her giantess form.

Belamis supported the ceiling of the cave, but it was very very heavy.... and Belamis fell onto her knees.

"Belamis..." Medora cried.

"It was very very heavy.... the crust is crushing on me..." Belamis replied in telepathy.

"Belamis!!! Can you hold on...?"

"I am afraid... I cannot hold on for too long.. get the people out now..." Belamis replied, and she exerted herself, and gave out a loud roar.

Then the quake intensified, and the region's crust began to collapse, only with Belamis supporting it, so that it didn't cave in and crush the people.

"Captain!!!" Grando yelled.

Belamis growled, and she exerted even more.

"Medora... get the people out..."

"Belamis! How about you...?"

Then there's a loud growling sound, a monster emerged. It was a monster with body of rocks!

"That's the monster!!!" Grando said.

Belamis could not move a bit, she was supporting the falling earth crust on her back.

The monster hold up its fists of rock and began hitting Belamis repeatedly.

"Belamis!" Medora cried.

"Get the people out now..." Belamis replied, as her body bleed as the rock monster hit her body with sharp edges of rocks, cutting her.

Then another loud cracking sound, Belamis roared.

"The crust is falling...." Grando cried.

Belamis knew that on her back were a large piece of the earth's crust, and it was tremendously heavy... not even her strength could support it. Belamis simply used her will power to keep on supporting it.

The monster then used both fists and hit Belamis right arm, cracking her bones. Belamis roared loudly.

"Belamis...!!!" Medora cried.

"She is going to be crushed by the the falling crust!!!" The men shouted.

Then suddenly Belamis' body glowed and her body turned from greyish to golden, and she radiated light.

Belamis stood up, her strength multiplied, and she lifted the crust with just one arm, and she placed it back on a stable spot, and the crust stopped collapsing.

"Belamis turned into a golden giantess ?" Medora said.

The rock monster hit Belamis body, but it growled in pain - its fists cracked as it hit's Belamis body - Belamis body became much stronger and tougher.

Belamis roared, and she raised her left hand, and hit the monster with her fist, cracking its head.

Then Belamis lifted it up, and threw the monster onto the ground, and then Belamis used her handchop and hit it - the rock monster broke to pieces of small pebbles.

"Belamis!" Medora cried in joy.

Belamis turned, and changed back to human form. Her right arm was broken.

Medora hurried to Belamis and placed her hands on Belamis right arm, radiating Galaxy Energy to heal her arm.

"Captain..." Grando came forward.

"We are going to restore Galaxy Energy here..." Medora said.

Belamis smiled, and stood up.

Back in Starry Princess, Dr. Kitty explained, "That was Gariusu giantess power fighting form when Belamis' body changed to golden color. Very few Gariusu giantess have that power."

"You mean, Belamis is that kind of Gariusu giantess ?" Medora asked.

"Yes... She received the Galaxy Energy from the old Queen, that energy nurtured her body..." Dr. Kitty said.

Belamis remembered the old Queen, and was sad.

"Belamis, you should use the powers .... so that the old Queen did not die in vain." Dr. Kitty said.

Belamis nodded.

Then Belamis exited Starry Princess, Medora stood on the deck. Belamis turned into her giantess form, and looked at Medora, and she uttered, "Me..do..ra..."

"Belamis...no matter what...we will help the people!"

Belamis nodded, as she carried Starry Princess on her back and resume their journey.
