Chapter 45 - The goddess, the evil one and the rogue cyborg

Belamis was recovering at the planet where she battled the monster trees. Medora visited the temple where a statue of the ancient goddess was there and people worshiped it.

Belamis was better and followed Medora to the temple.

Belamis was struck by the statue's resemblance to her.

"This goddess looked exactly like you..." Medora said.

Belamis looked at the statue - not just the face, the hair and the body. The statue had scars sculpted on it.

"This goddess, as we were told by our fathers, was a brave one....like you she was big and she protected our people with her life..." The elder man said.

Belamis looked, then saw at the back end of the temple another statue.

"That one... is the evil one.... which is the nemesis of this goddess... in our legend the goddess defeated the evil one..."

Belamis looked, and remained silent.

Then suddenly there were cries and screaming.

Belamis ran out with Medora, and there was a gigantic battleship with swarms of fighters attacking.

"Who are they ?" Belamis was shocked.

"Medora! The scepter!" Belamis exclaimed.

Medora held up the scepter and transformed Belamis to the giantess.

Belamis roared and leaped up to drive away the fighters.

The fighters fired at Belamis, but Belamis was not afraid. She struck them down.

Then a voice spoke, "Belamis ? So it is you..."

Belamis turned and uttered, "You...?"

Then on the deck of the battleship stood a woman, blonde and with green eyes. She wore a black suit, and hold a double blade sword.

Belamis looked and growled.

"Such a fool.... giving up your god like cyborg body and become this naked giantess ?" The woman said.

"Belamis... who is she ?" Medora shouted.

"Delexa is my master, and I am determined to help her conquer the universe..."

She then pulled her double blade sword and fired beams at Belamis.

Belamis dodged, and uttered, "Sonya....."

"We will meet again." The woman commanded the fighters and battleship to retreat.

Medora turned Belamis back to human form.

"Who is this woman ?" Medora asked.

Belamis signed.

"I never thought I would meet her again.... in such  circumstances..." Replied Belamis.

"You knew her ?" Medora asked.

Belamis nodded.

"Her name is Sonya.... my home planet was one of the planets in a triplet. Gariusu, Talusan and Yolen.. I belonged to Gariusu, Nick at Talusan, and Sonya at Yonen."

"How did you meet her?"

It was when the triplet planet battled monsters together. Belamis was already the cyborg soldier and the lieutenant of her army forces. Her planet's army joined forces with Talusan and Yolen.

"Sonya is a colonel from Yolen..." Belamis said.

"She is also a cyborg like me...."

"What happened...?"

Belamis signed. As she recalled the fateful day she confronted Sonya.

"Attack!!!" Sonya yelled, commanding the fighters to fire at the monsters.

"No!!! There are our men from Talusan!!! They will be hit!!" Belamis shouted.

"Don't get into my way!" Sonya yelled. She leaped out of her jet and started attacking, firing indiscriminately.

Belamis drew her sword and stopped Sonya.

"Get out of my way you coward!" Shouted Sonya.

"I am responsible for the safety of my men!" Belamis shouted.

"Winning is everything!" Sonya hurled her double blade sword at Belamis. Belamis fought back with her sword.

The two female cyborgs engaged in a fight, with Belamis using her ultraspeed move and great skills in sword fighting battling Sonya's sword.

Sonya then hold up her hand and fired a ball of energy at Belamis, hitting Belamis' chest.

"Arrrhh..." Belamis was hit, but she braved the pain and struck the sword off Sonya's hand.

Then Belamis struck Sonya with her electromagnetic sword and knocking her unconscious.

At the military marshal, Sonya was convicted of a number of charges, namely endangering the colleagues and attacking a fellow soldier.

"I will get you for this!!" Sonya said angrily as she was taken away to the prison.

Belamis watched, and signed.

Medora listened, and said, "She sounds like a very very brutal person."

"Sonya was a very aggressive person and she believes that the ends justify the means. She does not care about her subordinates, and even risked their lives..." Belamis said.

"I do not approve of her ways, and I clashed with her a number of times before this final confrontation that landed her in prison..." Belamis replied.

"She hated me for this...and I thought she perished with Yolen when it exploded..." Belamis continued.


Back at Delexa's palace, Sonya looked at the heavens.

"Belamis... you bitch... you sent me to prison...and I almost died with Yolen... had I not escaped..." Sonya eyes burned with anger.

As Yolen exploded, Sonya was hurled out to space, and was injured badly.

She drifted aimlessly until one day she met Delexa.

"You are filled with anger and hatred..." Delexa asked.


"Help me... I will serve you!!!" Sonya begged, as she lost her limbs when Yolen exploded.

"OK. I will give you new limbs and powers..." Delexa said.

"Please, I will be your loyal servant!!" Sonya shouted.

Sonya got new cybernetic limbs and powers, and became the aide for Delexa.

She looked at her hands, and then she waved her left hand - it became a gun, and she shot out blasts.

"With my powerful body, even Belamis turned into that naked giantess is no match to me..." Sonya laughed.

"Captain Sonya, our troops are ready..." One soldier reported.

"Good...." Sonya laughed.

Belamis was thinking about Sonya, and signed.

"Belamis, is she powerful ?" Medora said.

"I am not sure how powerful, but she surely hated me enough..." Belamis replied.

Then people were screaming again.

"They are coming again.." Remarked Belamis.

Medora took out the scepter, Belamis nodded, and she turned to her giantess form.

Belamis roared, and leaped up high, charging the swarms of fighters.

"Sonya..." Belamis thought to herself.

Sure enough, Sonya appeared. She was on her own jet which was black in color, her own black fighting suit and her two sided sword.

"Belamis, not dare to fight me in your human form ?" Teased Sonya.

Belamis stopped, and she growled. Then Belamis talk to Medora, "Turn me back to human form..."

"No!!!"

"I want to fight on equal footing. I enjoy an advantage with my giantess size...." Belamis said.

Sonya began shooting from her jet, and the blasts hit Belamis. Belamis did not lift her finger to fight back.

"Still that same chivalrous fool back in Gariusu..." Laughed Sonya.

Then the swarm of fighters shoot at Belamis. Belamis just lashed out her chains and spin it quickly, shielding herself from the blasts.

Medora said to Belamis, "If you fight in your human form.. you will not be able to fight them!!!"

"I know what I am doing.... have faith in me..." Belamis replied.

Medora lifted the scepter and a beam shot at Belamis' forehead. She turned back to human form, naked, hands and limbs still wearing shackles and chains, with the collar on her neck.

Sonya saw what Medora could do, and said, "I will take her as my prisoner..."

Belamis shouted, "Don't you dare lay a finger on her!!"

Sonya looked at Belamis and felt a kind of reverence to her - Belamis though naked, without her electromagnetic sword nor fighter jet, was still displaying the valor Sonya herself envied.

"Let's see how tough you are !" Sonya shouted. She steered her jet and charged Belamis, and shooting blasts at Belamis.

Belamis spinned her chains in high speed, deflecting all the blasts. Then Belamis feet formed a energy field, Belamis leaped with all her might and charged Sonya's jet.

"What the..???" Sonya was shocked as she watched Belamis just charged at her.

Sonya pressed the firing button, shooting out bursts of lazers. Belamis spinned her chains in high speed, deflecting all the blasts and soon she landed on top of Sonya's jet!

Belamis shouted, and hold up her fists, and smashed onto the jet and leaped away.

"Damn!!!" Sonya struggled to control her jet as the jet was hit and started to fly erratically. Sonya turned her jet and charged Belamis.

"Trapping beam!" Sonya deployed the force field to trap Belamis.

Belamis was caught in the force field, and the force field was like a gripping hand.

"Nobody can break free from it!!" Sonya laughed.

"You have not tried it on me..." Belamis replied calmly. Then she shouted and exerted her muscles, and broke free. Then Belamis charged again, lashing the chain on her left hand hitting Sonya's jet.

"Gossh..." Sonya yelled. One of the wing so her jet cracked, and the jet could not fly in straight lines.

Medora was overjoyed, and cheered, "Good!!! Teach her a lesson!"

"You damn girly! I am going to get you!" Shouted the angry Sonya and she fired at Medora.

"No!!" Belamis was angered, and she rushed and shielded Medora with her own body, taking many shots on her back.

"You are making me angry!" Belamis shouted, and her concern with Medora triggered her to transform to the giantess.

Belamis in giantess form roared, and lashed her chains to Sonya's jet, hitting it hard.

"Damn..." Sonya's jet was damaged and she turned away.

"I will get you for this!!" Said Sonya.

Belamis turned back to human form, and rushed to Medora.

"I am OK. I am not hurt.." Medora said.

Belamis hugged Medora, and Medora was sad to see Belamis was injured again.

"We have horrible enemies... Delexa... and Sonya..." Signed Belamis as she looked at Sonya's jet leaving with the other fighters.
