Chapter 45 - Delexa the "evil"

Belamis in her human form, conveyed all about Delexa to Earth, where Dr. Kitty analyzed them.

Dr. Kitty came back, and her face was pale.

Medora asked, "What is it ?"

"Belamis, you are up against a very strong force of evil..... Delexa, thrived when Galaxy Energy was totally depleted and when evil energy revived.....she would want the death of Medora and Princess Aurora..." Dr. Kitty said.

Kugo was beside Dr. Kitty, and yelled, "What ?"

"Delexa, would have remain dormant as long as there's even a trace of Galaxy Energy. Golinkor had no idea of what they did when they created voids of Galaxy Energy. Not only monsters pop up, they also awakened a very very evil force...." Dr. Kitty said.

"How strong is she ?" Belamis asked.

"I cannot tell. Delexa could manipulate substances and turn them to monsters. She also possesses her own powers.... " Dr. Kitty continued.

"Can me.... a Gariusu giantess defeat her ?" Belamis asked.

"Delexa was never awakened for nearly 1 million years....Gariusu giantess was around also for millions of years, but they never had any encounter.... Delexa was subdued by Galaxy Energy... " Dr. Kitty said.

"But, Medora is still young, her Galaxy Energy is not sufficient. So is Princess Aurora. Delexa is determined to kill them both..." Dr. Kitty said.

"I must fight her no matter what..." Belamis replied, "....and restore the Galaxy Energy for the people here..."

"There are still 7 planets in this area where Galaxy Energy is to be restored. We think Delexa resided on this one..." Dr. Kitty said, and on the screen, a dark, pitch black planet appeared.

"She sensed Medora's presence, and feels threatened. So Delexa appeared." Dr. Kitty remarked.

Belamis took a deep breath. She knew there would be hard battles ahead.

Belamis went outside, and immediately she transformed to the giantess, the chains on her limbs attached to Starry Princess and she and Medora embarked on the journey.

Belamis pulled the craft and headed to the next planet on the path.

Then Belamis stopped again, and Medora heard Belamis growled again.

"Belamis ?"

Belamis was not answering, but she growled even more intensely.

"Belamis, you are frightening me..." Medora said.

Belamis turned, and looked at Medora. Belamis eyes were gentle as ever, but her telepathy was silent, Belamis was not talking at all.

"Belamis, talk to me..." Medora pleaded.

Then Belamis' eyes shed tears.

"No....." Medora remarked.

Belamis' chains detached from Starry Princess....

"I am not allowing you to go!!!!" Medora screamed.

Then the collar round Belamis' neck tighten, and sending electromagnetic blasts to her.

Belamis went down on her knees, eyes streaming out tears...

"Belamis...don't leave me.. talk to me...." Medora yelled.

Belamis eyes streamed out tears, and she silently endured the torture.

"Belamis.. if you die... I will die too.." Medora exclaimed.

"Medora... I cannot take you with me...." Belamis finally talked.

"What's ahead is an evil being, willing to do anything to kill you..."

"Belamis! We cannot separate from each other..." Medora pleaded, and she ran to Belamis, and touched her palms.

Belamis replied, "I will protect you no matter what..."

Belamis hold Medora in her palm, and walked slowly, and she concentrated so that her super human hearing and vision could be invoked.

The planet was very very quiet, nothing living seemed to be present, and Belamis heard nothing.

"I don't like the look of it.." Said Belamis in telepathy.

Then people emerged - Belamis and Medora gasped.

The people were half human half plant!

The people moaned in pain, and cried, "Help us!!!"

"What happened ?" Medora exclaimed.

"Delexa...." Belamis remarked.

"We...we were humans... but just half a year ago... the trees here turned berserk, they...they moved like humans, and many who were bitten by them... gradually turned to half human half plant...and lost their humanity gradually....painfully!!!" One of the person said, his arm was already turned to a piece of twig with leaves!

The other said, "When the change is completed, the person turned to a plant...and got eaten by those evil trees...."

Belamis and Medora felt compassion to them.

"Belamis, I will use Galaxy Energy to help them...." Medora said.

Then a hideous laugh from afar, "Hahahahahaha.... healing ? Don't be fools!" It was Delexa.

Belamis turned, and roared.

"I only want the whole universe to be mine pleasure alone..." Delexa emerged, and laughed.

Belamis  saw Delexa disappeared to the dark, and then multiple trees sprung up.

"Medora... take the others away!" Belamis said in telepathy.

Then on tree stick out twigs and grabbed Belamis left hand. Belamis broke free and lashed the chains on her hands to those monster trees and hit them hard.

The monster trees retreated a bit, then more sprung out and attacked Belamis.

Belamis roared, and lashed her chains, breaking them apart.

"They are numerous..." Belamis thought.

Then one grabbed Belamis from behind and had the twigs round Belamis neck, arms and body. Then thorns stuck out and pierced Belamis' body.

Belamis growled in pain, and struggled, as the twigs and branches tightened.

Belamis exerted her muscles and roared, breaking free from the grip. 

Medora saw blood all over Belamis, and her heart ached.

"Belamis...."

Then suddenly the monster tree extended a long branch and grabbed Medora.

Belamis roared and scrambled to break it. Then Belamis took Medora in her palm and placed her away from danger, and Belamis let out her electromagnetic heat blast, destroying all the monster trees.

Belamis turned back to human form, and took a look at Medora. The people surrounded them.

On Medora's arm was wound, one person gasped, "She.. she was bitten by the monster tree!!!"

"What ???" Exclaimed Belamis.

Belamis examined the wound on Medora's arm, and tissues around it was gradually turning to plant like cellulose.

"No!!!" Belamis yelled.

Medora was moaning in pain and had a fever. Her body reacted and she got a high fever.

Belamis sent all data back to Earth for Dr. Kitty to analyze.

"Medora's poison will progress, and we have to get the antidote for her." Dr. Kitty replied.

"But.. where can I find it ?" Belamis asked.

"The process is to use your blood, and also a sample of the poison. Your body has no reaction even the monster trees hurt you, so you blood can help Medora. The point is you need the poison and your blood combined to make the antidote." Said Dr. Kitty.

Belamis was silent, and she went out. Medora called her, "Belamis..."

"Medora.." Belamis held her hands.

"I will hang on..." Medora said.

Belamis nodded her head and went out.

Belamis had to face a problem. Without Medora at her side, she could not transform to the giantess - she still could not do it by her own  freewill unless it was a very dangerous situation.

"What shall I do ?" Belamis thought, as she walked up to the meadow where the monster trees appeared.

Then sure enough the monster trees appeared. Being human, Belamis was dwarfed by the large monster trees.

Yet Belamis was brave, she thought, "Get the poison sample...."

She eyed on one particular monster tree and charged it, she leaped up high and lashed the chains on her arms to it, breaking its bark and twigs.

Then more monster trees surrounded Belamis, and the branches and twigs were storming towards her.

Belamis focused on getting the sample of the poison, and grabbed that tree she targeted and broke its barks, squeezing the juice, which was the poison into a bottle she was carrying.

The other monster trees' branches and twigs attacked Belamis, and pieced her body at multiple places.

Belamis endured the pain, and said, "You cannot defeat me!!!" She yelled and lashed the chains on her right arm, and left leg at the monster trees, breaking them.

Then Belamis ran at high speed back to the village where the planet people and Medora was.

As Belamis entered, she fell to the floor. Belamis had wounds all over her.

Medora was conscious, but painful with the poison. She saw Belamis and remembered her dreams about Belamis enduring pain and body covered with blood in protecting her.

"Belamis..." Medora softly said, as tears rolled out of her eyes.

Belamis struggled up, and went to kneel beside Medora's bed. Belamis eyes glittered as tears welled up, and Belamis held Medora's hand. "Easy... the antidote will be ready..."

Belamis then asked the villagers, "Anyone have a knife ?"

"Here is one...what are you going to.." The villager asked.

Belamis grabbed the knife, and poked it to her heart, and cut the main artery, blood flowed out and dripped into the other bottle she carried.

"Belamis..." Medora cried.

"I will use my blood to make the antidote..." Belamis replied. She hurried into Starry Princess, and headed to the lab, and started the process.

"Belamis, the process is delicate because it is animal blood against plant toxin.... monitor the process.." Dr. Kitty said.

Belamis nodded. Belamis graduated from a military school but before that she had studied extensively in science and computer, and when she assisted Dr. Kitty on Earth, she learned a lot more.

Belamis started the centrifuge to get a concentrated solution of the poison, and mixed it with her blood serum, also prepared in a centrifuge. She looked into the microscope - the result failed.

Belamis heart sanked. She only got half the sample of the poison left.

"Belamis.... the antidote will need a lot of your blood..." Dr. Kitty remarked.

Belamis without blinking her eyes, put needles on both her arms, her chest to draw her blood out.

As many blood was drawn out, Belamis felt weak. She struggled, and prepared the serum again, and mixing the sample of poison.

Belamis looked into the microscope, and saw the antidote worked.

Belamis immediately took it to Medora.

"No... Belamis... gave the antidote to the people..." Medora pleaded.

"Medora.." Belamis voice shook. Yet Belamis knew why, the people needed the antidote too.

"Medora, I will get more poison sample!!!" Belamis said. She injected the antidote to Medora's body to revive her.

Then Belamis stormed out, running to the meadows. Belamis only had a cloth wrapped round her waist, she ripped it off, and was naked. Belamis ran to the swarms of monster trees waiting there.

"hahahaha.... this Gariusu giantess had a lot of guts..." Said Delexa. She turned to one person beside her.

"That's Belamis... never gives up..." The person said.

"Monster trees... kill her!!!" Commanded Delexa.

Belamis saw the swarms of trees racing towards her. She knew if she was to get enough poison sample, she would be severely injured.

Belamis stood very still, and countless branches gripped her, and got her entangled. Then thorns stuck out and poked Belamis' body.

Belamis made no sound.

"Hahaha...there's no escape... " Then Delexa stopped in mid-sentence.

"She is absorbing the poison to her body..." The one person beside Delexa said.

Then Belamis gave out a loud cry, breaking free and speeded back to the village.

Then Belamis stormed into Starry Princess, and poked as many needles to her body's blood vessels. Belamis took the shortcut to make the antidote. She used her own body.

The many needles drew over half of Belamis blood and Belamis was severely weakened after such huge loss of her blood.

Belamis then pressed a button, and got many doses of antidotes.

Belamis smiled and said, "Good..."

Then there were loud screams. The monster trees came attacking.

Belamis ran out, Medora was there, though very weak, she raised the scepter.

Belamis transformed to her giantess form, and she roared.

Belamis charged and lashed the chains on her hands at the monster trees, breaking their branches and twigs. Yet Belamis was very weak, she fell onto her knees, and in no time numerous branches and twigs surrounded her and grabbed her. Thorns then pierced her body, and sharp twigs impaled her chest.

Belamis growled in deep pain, and struggled.

"Belamis!!!" Medora cried, as she saw blood streaming out of Belamis body.

Belamis roared, and she broke free. Then she yelled and let out her strong electromagnetic energy blast, destroying all monster trees.

Belamis breathed heavily, before she fell to the ground and turned back to human form.

"Belamis!!" Medora ran to her.

"Antidote..... give it to the people.." Belamis said.

Medora nodded, with sorrow as she saw Belamis in such pain.

The people got the antidote and all were healed. They also went in numbers to get medication to help heal Belamis' wounds.

Belamis was in a bed, and the people helped to tend her wounds. Belamis felt very warm in her heart.

"You are just like the legendary goddess that saved our ancestors..." The village elder said.

"We have a temple for her..." The other said.

Medora visited the temple, and there stood a statue.

"Belamis ????" Medora was startled. The statue looked almost identical to Belamis.

"This goddess saved us...." The village elder said.

Medora pondered.

"She is the Gariusu giantess..." The one beside Delexa said.

"Yes... one factor we overlooked .... but we can deal with her.." Delexa said.

"I will confront her personally...." The one beside Delexa said.
